He has been a professor at the Universidad Panamericana Mexico City campus) since 2007. He earned a master’s degree in Government and Public Policy from the UP, graduating with a thesis titled *City and Beauty*. An Ethical Proposal from Political Philosophy (published in 2019 by Tirant lo Blanch). He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Navarra with the thesis On the Practical Idea in Carlos Llano’s Philosophy of Action (summa cum laude, 2018).
At the Institute of Humanities, he teaches courses in Ethics, Social Philosophy, and Man and the Contemporary World. In addition, in the School of Philosophy, he teaches courses in Techniques of Philosophical Writing and Selected Topics in Political Philosophy. Among his most recent publications are: The Power of Realism: Essays on the Philosophical Work of Carlos Llano. IPADE Publishing-EUNSA. Pamplona, 2023 (editor), “Should the University Be Democratic? An Approach Based on Ortega y Gasset,” a chapter in the book The Cultivation of Knowledge. EUNSA. Pamplona, 2021.
He directs the research group on City, Beauty, and Livability. He is a member of the ongoing seminar on aesthetics and the city, organized by ITAM and the DAAD.
His specific areas of research are: instrumental reason, the philosophy of architecture and the city, the theory of action, the work of Carlos Llano, and the thought of José Ortega y Gasset.
