Víctor Manuel Arenas Luna

SNII Level: Candidate

Víctor Manuel Arenas Luna holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from CINVESTAV-IPN (2023), where he also earned a Master of Science degree. He is a chemist, bacteriologist, and parasitologist with a degree from the IPN’s National School of Biological Sciences.

He is currently a candidate in the SNII and serves as a Research Assistant in the Molecular Biology Laboratory at the School of Medicine, where he participates in training students and developing scientific projects.

His work focuses on cellular and molecular biology, with an emphasis on oncology, immunomodulation, and stem cells.

He is currently involved in the development of research protocols aimed at studying the role of mesenchymal stem cells in breast cancer, as well as in the analysis of bioactive compounds derived from Mexican plants with antitumor potential.

He has published in indexed journals and participated in national and international scientific forums.
