Laura Yadira Munguía Ochoa

Yadira Munguía holds a PhD in Hispanic American Literature from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, a master's degree in Mexican Literature from BUAP, a master's degree in History of Mexico from the University of Guadalajara, a specialist in Anthropology and Ethics, a specialist in Didactic Competencies from Universidad Panamericana and a bachelor's degree in Hispanic Literature from the UdeG. She is currently a research professor category B at Universidad Panamericana and a member of the National System of Researchers level I. Professor of Subject category B of the Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Literature at the University of Guadalajara. Member of important international research associations such as UC-Mexicanistas, AITENSO, Institut IIS, and AEGS. She is the author of the critical edition: Enigmas offered to the Sovereign Assembly of the House of Pleasure, by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. She is also the author of several scientific articles in international journals of academic prestige and book chapters in national and international publications. Her research interests are the literature and history of New Spain and the Spanish Golden Age, with special reference to Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
