    Eduardo Ponce de León Garduño

    Dr. Eduardo Ponce de León Garduño holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City campus, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Anáhuac México. He also has extensive postgraduate training, including doctorates, certificate programs, and certifications in fields such as Economics, Coaching, Finance, International Trade, Education, Anthropology, and Ethics. His international training includes studies in quality, strategic thinking, high-performance teams, strategic alliances, and global operations, as well as a Six Sigma Black Belt certificate program completed in Atlanta, Georgia.

    Professionally, he has held management positions at Hewlett-Packard Mexico, where he served as Manager of Business Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Sales Administration, as well as Order Fulfillment Supervisor, building a solid track record in business management and strategic analysis. Previously, he worked in the financial and leasing sectors at companies such as Quadrum and Grupo Martí.

    In the academic sphere, he has taught at institutions such as the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM), ITESO, and Anáhuac University. He is currently a full-time professor at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, where he teaches courses in finance, marketing, strategy, decision-making, and personal skills development.

    His profile is distinguished by a combination of a strong academic background, extensive management experience in the business sector, and an outstanding teaching career, enabling him to offer a comprehensive and up-to-date perspective in his areas of expertise.

  • Edgar Tovar García

    Edgar Tovar García

    He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Barcelona in 2008. He received an international mobility grant from Finland to conduct research at the University of Tampere and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has also served as a consultant for the World Bank and has collaborated with various universities in Russia.

    Since 2018, he has been a member of the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, where he has served as a Research Professor in the School of Economics and Business. He currently holds the rank of Tenured Research Professor (D). He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SECIHTI), Level II.

    He has received numerous awards and honors for his academic work, most notably the Revista de Comercio Exterior–Bancomext Award. His work has been published in highly prestigious academic journals, including *Economics of Innovation and New Technology*, *Communist and Post-Communist Studies*, *Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development*, and *Journal of Religion in Europe*. He currently serves as an editorial board member for *PLOS ONE*.

    His research interests include international economics, applied economics, and the economics of education, among others.

  • Clara Cristina Catarina Eccius Wellmann

    Clara Cristina Catarina Eccius Wellmann

    He holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a specialization in Anthropology and Ethics from the Universidad Panamericana. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and a Ph.D. (Dr. phil.) in Mathematics Education from the University of Hamburg, Germany.

    He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed, indexed academic journals, as well as several specialized books in his field. He is a Level I member of the National System of Researchers (SNI).

    She has contributed to the development of the Smarter project. Her areas of interest include the study of algebraic errors, math anxiety, and the concept of variables; she is currently exploring the use of eye-tracking technology to analyze students’ problem-solving processes in algebra.

  • Carlos López Hernández

    Carlos López Hernández

    He earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Management from the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP), where he received an Honorable Mention for Research, the Magna Cum Laude distinction for his GPA, and the Award for Best Student in the Program. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IPADE, where he also completed a specialization in Business Policy, both programs completed with an excellence scholarship.

    He has completed various specialized programs at international institutions such as Lock Haven University, Texas A&M University, Harvard Business School, and the National Defense University. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Americas Puebla, where he was awarded an excellence scholarship by the Mary Street Jenkins Foundation.

    Professionally, he has worked for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores in Washington, D.C., served as a congressional intern in the United States, and held a position at Citibank-Banamex. He has also served as an advisor and consultant to various companies and institutions, including Grupo LALA, Tequila Sauza, HP, MUSTAD, and Club Deportivo Guadalajara (Chivas), among others.

  • Carlos Reyes

    Carlos Reyes

    He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Guadalajara. He has specialized in Finance, Philosophical Anthropology and Ethics, as well as in Teaching Skills from the Universidad Panamericana. He holds a Master’s degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the Institute of Stock Market Studies in Madrid and a Master’s degree in Organizational Governance and Culture from the Institute of Business and Humanism at the University of Navarra, where he wrote his thesis , *Authority in the Governance of the Modern Company*, under the supervision of Alejo J. Sison.

    He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Governance and Culture from the University of Navarra. His doctoral dissertation, titled *The Response to the Vocation to the Common Good of Companies Listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange*, was supervised by Paul H. Dembinski and Rafael Alvira.

    Professionally, he has worked in the Mexican banking sector in areas such as treasury, credit, internal audit, and integration between banks and branches, as well as at the Madrid Stock Exchange, in the market development area of Latibex. At the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, he has held various executive positions, including treasurer, head of financial planning and accounting, head of the Academy of Finance, and Institutional Secretary of Research for the three UP campuses.

    He currently serves as a professor at the Academy of Finance within the Business School at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus.

  • Brenda Ruiz Robles

    Brenda Ruiz Robles

    She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University Center for Exact Sciences and Engineering (CUCEI) at the University of Guadalajara and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University Center for Economic and Administrative Sciences (CUCEA) at the same institution. She also holds a specialization in Teaching Skills and a specialization in Anthropology and Ethics from the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus.

    Since August 2013, she has been a professor at the Academy of Mathematics within the School of Economics and Business at the Universidad Panamericana. She has presented at four national conferences and completed a research fellowship in Seville, Spain. She has also collaborated with Dr. Cristina Eccius Wellmann and Dr. Rebeca Ascencio on the MathUP and Smarter projects.

  • Arturo Soto González

    Arturo Soto González

    He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Panamericana. He also holds an MBA from Vilnius University in Lithuania and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. In addition, he completed the D-1 program at IPADE.

    He is a professor of Professional Ethics and Management at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, and has served as a visiting professor at the Catholic University of Lille in France. He currently serves as Director of the Líderes21 program.

    Anuschka I. Álvarez von Gustedt


    She holds a Ph.D. in International Relations (cum laude) from the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Georgetown University (U.S.), and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Vassar College (U.S.).

    She holds a Diploma in International Management from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (Spain) and a Specialization in Anthropology and Ethics from the Universidad Panamericana Mexico). She has been a full-time professor in the School of Economics and Business at the Universidad Panamericana since 2012. She teaches courses in International Relations, Geopolitics, International Negotiations, Contemporary World Politics, and International Protocol, among others.


    His research interests include populism and its impact on foreign policy; geopolitics and international diplomacy; and intercultural communication.
    His academic background is complemented by extensive practical experience in the field of international relations.

    From 1997 to 2001, she worked at the World Bank (Washington, D.C.), where she led human development, health, and nutrition projects in Latin America and Asia; and from 2001 to 2005, she served as Director of the Protocol Office at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid (Spain). In addition, she has worked at research centers such as the Institute for European-Latin American Relations (IRELA) in Madrid and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), based in Washington, D.C.

    She has contributed as an international policy analyst to Mexican media outlets and international web
    , and is a member of the Network of Women Political Scientists. She holds dual Spanish-German citizenship and has lived in Europe, North America, and Asia.
    She is fluent in Spanish, German, English, Italian, and French.

  • Alejandro Lome Hurtado

    Alejandro Lome Hurtado

    He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of York in England, where he also served as a teaching assistant. He has experience in applied econometrics and microeconometrics, with a specialization in environmental economics, health economics, and finance.

    He has served as a professor and researcher at leading Mexican universities, including the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Anáhuac University, and the Monterrey Institute of Technology. His research focuses on spatial and temporal health inequalities and their relationship to environmental issues such as air pollution, natural disasters, and extreme temperatures, as well as on climate change and, more recently, on studies of well-being.

    His work has been published in high-impact international journals (Q1), such as *Exposure and Health*, *BMC Public Health*, *International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction*, *Applied Geography*, *Environmental Management*, and *Scientific Reports*, among others. He has also served as a reviewer for Q1 academic journals such as *Archives of Public Health*, *World Development*, *Scientific Reports*, and *International Journal for Equity in Health*.

    He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), Level I.

  • Alberto Sevilla Flores

    Alberto Sevilla Flores

    He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Social Development, and a Master’s degree in Government and Public Policy from the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus. He also holds a certificate in Marriage and Family Studies, as well as specializations in Anthropology and Ethics, and in Human Resources from the same institution. He is a specialist in the Governance of International Institutions and Organizations from the Villanueva University Center at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. He has completed the Case Method Diploma at Harvard Business School and the Global Human Resources Executive Program at Latam Business School–SHRM in Alexandria, United States.

    He has been a professor at the Universidad Panamericana 1997, where he teaches courses in the areas of management, leadership, human resources, and strategy. In the field of academic administration, he served as director of the Business Administration and Human Resources program at UP Guadalajara for nine years and held the position of head of human resources at the same campus. He is currently the head of the Academy of Human Factors, Communication, and Research at UP Guadalajara.

    In addition, he has been involved in the planning and coordination of conferences, symposia, academic trips, and outreach activities in more than ten countries. He is a speaker on management and human resources topics in various cities across the country and has served as a team advisor in more than twenty national and international competitions held in the United States, South Africa, Australia, Kazakhstan, and Latvia.

    Profesora de la Universidad Panamericana, experta en investigación de
    mercados, comportamiento del consumidor, percepción multisensorial y
    estrategias de marketing basadas en neurociencia y ciencia de datos. Con más
    de 20 años de experiencia, ha combinado su carrera académica con la
    consultoría estratégica, colaborando con instituciones educativas y empresas
    en más de una docena de países.


    Lidera el Neurolab en la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales,
    laboratorio especializado en el estudio del comportamiento mediante
    biosensores.


    Es Co-Fundadora de Vayra, en México, firma dedicada a brindar soluciones de
    inteligencia de mercado e innovación estratégica. Además, es consultora de
    Atrianna en Colombia, donde asesora proyectos de desarrollo de algoritmos
    predictivos basados en machine learning y modelos psicofísicos para anticipar
    el rendimiento de activos de marca y la conducta del consumidor.

    Licenciada en Administración y Mercadotecnia, Maestra en Comercialización
    Estratégica por la Universidad Panamericana y Doctora en Administración y
    Dirección de Empresas por la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Ha sido
    conferencista en varios foros internacionales y ha dirigido más de 500
    proyectos de investigación aplicada con enfoque cuantitativo, cualitativo y
    experimental, integrando herramientas tecnológicas y analíticas para
    optimizar decisiones empresariales.


    Su enfoque interdisciplinario y visión estratégica le han permitido consolidar
    una trayectoria reconocida en América Latina en el análisis del vínculo entre
    ciencia, negocios y experiencia del cliente.
