Prof. Mario Acevedo holds a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Universidad Panamericana, 1992. D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Navarra - San Sebastian (Spain), 1996. He studied a Master's degree in Information Technology and Administration at ITAM, 2002. Graduated from ADIT (Alta Dirección en Innovación y Tecnología) and D1, executive development programs at IPADE Business School. Since 1996 he is Professor-Researcher at the School of Engineering of Universidad Panamericana and is currently Secretary of Research at the Guadalajara Campus. Member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNI) Level 1. Representative in Mexico of the International Federation for the Study of Mechanism Theory and Machine Science (IFToMM). His research areas are: dynamics of machines, applications of the dynamics of rigid and flexible solid systems, kinematics and dynamics of robots and the application of the theory of machines and mechanisms.
