Dr. Samuel Nucamendi is an Industrial Engineer graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez (ITTG), he also has a Master of Science degree in Quality and Productivity Systems, as well as a PhD in Engineering Sciences, both from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) (with a doctoral research stay in the intelligent computing group at the University of La Laguna (ULL), in Spain). He also holds an international certification as a Black Belt in Six Sigma by Breakthrough Management Group International (BMGI). He currently serves as Full Research Professor D and Head of the Operations Academy of the School of Engineering at Universidad Panamericana. Dr. Nucamendi is a member of the Mexican Society of Operations Research (SMIO) since 2012 and, since 2017, he is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), currently at level 1.
