Dr. Victor Galvez serves as a professor-researcher at the School of Psychology, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universidad Panamericana (UP) since 2017. In 2018 he founded the Laboratory of Cognitive Neurosciences and Development (LANCyD), promoting research lines related to i) Brain connectivity and cognitive impairment, as well as ii) Validation of instruments for social cognition .
To date, he has directed several thesis projects that have concluded in the qualification of Neuropsychology Specialists, with whom he has been able to publish in high impact journals such as Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, PloS One, Brain Imaging and Behavior and International Journal of Social Robotics . However, recent work with colleagues has also been published in journals such as European Journal of Neuroscience, Frontiers in Psychiatry, Movement Disorders, or Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society.
Since 2021, he has been collaborating on a recurring basis as a reviewer for the Revista Panamericana de Pedagogía (RPP) and Archivos de Neurociencia, of the Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía (INNN) "Manuel Velasco Suárez", site where he also carries out most of his research projects since 2013.
