For Dr. Muñoz, this appointment means two things: "On the one hand, it is a great honor to be able to collaborate with the outstanding jurists from different parts of the world who make up UNIDROIT and to contribute to the work they carry out in favor of the unification or harmonization of law in order to achieve a world governed by law and its justice".

"On the other hand, it is a recognition of my professional career; the appointment means that I have the necessary credentials to carry out the work expected of a correspondent and I hope to live up to my expectations," he adds.

However, he also explains about his appointment: "Of course it also means recognition of the UP as an institution made up of people with national and international influence".

As a correspondent for UNIDROIT, Dr. Muñoz will act as a source of information on national legislation for the UNIDROIT Secretariat, as an expert advisor on transnational law matters, and as an informal ambassador of UNIDROIT in Mexico in connection with representative missions of the institute, as well as in events organized with institutions and the government of our country.

Regarding his expectations as a correspondent, the doctor indicates that he seeks to continue learning and contribute to the objectives of his appointment. But he also indicates that he seeks "to be able to transmit my experience and enthusiasm in these tasks to my students at Universidad Panamericana, to inspire them to work hard for any noble, ethical and legal objective that is of interest to them".
