Mexico City, May 16, 2023.- Dr. Fernanda Llergo Bay, Rector General of Panamericana and IPADE, attended the V International Meeting of Universia Rectors, held in Valencia, Spain on May 8, 9 and 10,

Under the motto "University and Society" and focused on the thematic axes lifelong learning, entrepreneurship and innovation, and networks and interconnection, the rectors of the universities represented committed themselves to:

  1. Strengthen the mission of the university so that teaching, research and knowledge transfer integrate social, environmental and economic challenges.
  2. Extend the learning offer to the different stages throughout adulthood.
  3. To provide students with a comprehensive education.
  4. Cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial skills in students to increase their employability.
  5. Integrate global and local challenges into the research agendas of their universities.
  6. Facilitate different forms of mobility for students and academics from their universities, including geographic mobility.

The agreement signed

Within the framework of this meeting, the Universidad Panamericana and the University of Valencia (UV), formalized the signing of an agreement whose objective is to impart knowledge through academic exchanges and promote research between both institutions.

Fernanda Llergo Bay, Rector General of Panamericana and IPADE, and the President of the Panamerican University, Dr. Fernanda Llergo Bay, will be present at the ceremony. The agreement between the Universidad de Valencia and Panamericana will allow the university community of the two institutions to share knowledge and experience in different areas of specialization, which may result in joint research projects and publications .

Likewise, this collaboration provides the opportunity to hold events and conferences that will allow students and professors from both universities to interact and learn from each other, as well as to share resources and knowledge that will benefit research and academic development.

Likewise, the agreement represents for UV and UP the possibility of expanding their academic networks and establishing relationships with more renowned institutions around the world.
