ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; April 11, 2023.- 45 students from the School of Law of the School of Law of the Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara attended the first edition of the Cuatrecasas Legal Week organized by the prestigious law firm Cuatrecasas in Barcelona. This program is aimed at final-year undergraduate and graduate law students from renowned Latin American universities and combines academic training in global and strategic legal issues with the opportunity to learn about the Cuatrecasas legal model.

The deans of the Panamericana Law Schools accompanied the students, who had the opportunity to interact with top legal professionals and learn about the workings of a leading law firm in the global market.
Isabel Álvarez, Dean of the Panamericana Law School Guadalajara campus, highlighted that the experience has been incredible for the students, giving them the opportunity to learn about legal trends in Europe that later reach Latin America. She thanked Cuatrecasas for the invitation and emphasized that the event exceeded expectations.
First Edition
Following the success of the first edition in Barcelona, Cuatrecasas plans to soon offer a practical workshop at its Mexico City offices for program participants. This workshop will allow students to apply the knowledge acquired in a real professional environment, reinforcing their training and preparing them for the challenges of practicing law in the 21st century. Cuatrecasas partner and program director, Maribel Villaró, expressed her pride in presenting the firm to law students at Universidad Panamericana (UP) and sharing knowledge about the keys to business law in an innovative and international environment.
Fernando Bayram, a final year law student at UP and participant in this first edition, commented that Cuatrecasas Legal Week is a very worthwhile experience, a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the sector.
