Mexico City, September 24, 2026.— The Universidad Panamericana is recognized as Mexico’s top private university in sustainability, according to the results of the UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Rankings 2026, one of the leading international benchmarks in the field of university sustainability.
In this edition, the institution climbed 44 spots globally, moving from 163rd to 119th place, and established itself among the Mexican universities that have made the most progress in this area. This improvement represents one of the institution’s key achievements in the ranking.
Nationally, the University of Mexico (Universidad Panamericana ) ranked fourth among participating universities and was the highest-ranked private Mexican institution in the rankings, reflecting the University’s sustained progress in sustainability and environmental management.
In Latin America, the " Universidad Panamericana " reached 16th place, up from 23rd in the previous edition.
