Dr. María Guadalupe Torres Pulido, an outstanding professor of the School of Business Administration, has successfully completed her Doctorate in Tax Sciences at the prestigious Institute of Specialization for Executives. In addition to being an excellent teacher, she has now started a career that will surely be very fruitful in the field of research.

During her research, Dr. Torres Pulido focused on analyzing the impact of the Federal Law for the Prevention and Identification of Illegal Proceeds of Crime (LFPIORPI) on authorized higher education donors. Her thesis specifically addressed the consideration of the receipt of donations as a vulnerable activity within this regulatory body.
"Concluding the doctorate is the achievement of a professional goal reached that necessarily entails an intellectual and emotional challenge, where you gain self-discipline, resilience in the face of the challenges you face and the ability to manage uncertainty, in addition to the technical knowledge and skills you acquire, " he concluded.
