Mexico City, October 18, 2023 - In an effort to strengthen ties and strengthen the existing alliance, Universidad Panamericana signed an academic collaboration agreement with Procter & Gamble (P&G), one of the largest multinational companies in the world with several prestigious brands in the market.
Strategic alliance
Ana Daniela Mondragón Ortega , legal representative of Procter & Gamble, expressed her gratitude for the collaboration between the two institutions: "It is a pleasure for us to work with you, developing students who are extremely well-rounded, successful and who we love to host in our company once they finish college.
Similarly, the rector of the Mexico City campus, Dr. Santiago García Álvarez, reflected on the importance of this type of linkages: "It seems to me that solid institutions make us look to the future with hope.
"A strategic alliance between a company as important as P&G and a university like UP, it seems to me that it goes in that line (...), we have the objective of growing the linkage with the public sector and with companies, so that we have many solid institutions," he added.
Finally, Dr. Garcia congratulated the work of P&G: "Procter & Gamble has always been an aspirational, model company and continues to be so, with good traits (...), they are a model company at an international level, that is why this is such an important agreement for Panamericana".
Joint agreements
The purpose of the agreement signed is to join efforts to promote activities that contribute to the academic and educational culture in our country and to strengthen both institutions .
Among the activities derived from it that will be carried out, and in which members of our community and P&G collaborators will be able to participate, are the following:
- Corporate chairs and seminars or congresses.
Efforts, experience, manpower, technical expertise, and material resources will be pooled to carry out the participation of P&G executives and directors in sessions within our institution.
- Job placement/talent recruitment.
Panamericana students will be able to participate in P&G's recruitment process.
- Research projects.
Joint research projects may be carried out.
- Spark UP - Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
The foundations will be laid for Spark UP and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation to promote P&G projects and generate a high-impact company.
- Corporate scholarships.
Panamericana has a program to attract young talent, which makes it available to companies with a sense of responsibility and social commitment, so that they can hire students.
- Language Center.
It offers continuing education and training services in national and foreign languages, which will be available to P&G collaborators and employees.
For Universidad Panamericana it is important to collaborate with different sectors of society and to continue forming agreements that will benefit society.
