Mexico City, October 18, 2023.— In an effort to strengthen ties and solidify their existing partnership, the Universidad Panamericana signed an academic collaboration agreement with Procter & Gamble ( P&G), one of the world’s largest multinational companies, which owns several highly prestigious brands in the market.

Strategic Alliance

During the signing ceremony in Ciudad Panamericana, Ana Daniela Mondragón Ortega, legal representative of Procter & Gamble, expressed her gratitude for the collaboration between the two institutions: “It is a pleasure for us to work with you, helping to develop well-rounded, successful students whom we are delighted to welcome into our company once they graduate.”

Similarly, the dean of the Mexico City campus, Dr. Santiago García Álvarez, reflected on the importance of such partnerships: “I believe that strong institutions allow us to look to the future with hope.”

“A strategic partnership between a major company like P&G and a university like UP seems to me to be a step in that direction (…), and our goal is to strengthen our ties with the public sector and with businesses so that we can build a strong network of institutions,”he added.

Finally, Dr. García praised P&G’s work: “Procter & Gamble has always been an aspirational, exemplary company, and it remains so, with many positive qualities (…), they are a model company on the international stage, which is why this agreement is so important to Panamericana.”

Joint Agreements

The agreement aims to combine efforts to promote activities that contribute to the academic and educational culture in our country and to the strengthening of both institutions.

Among the related activities that will be held—and in which members of our community and P&G employees can participate—are the following:

  • Corporate lectures, seminars, and conferences.

We will pool our efforts, experience, workforce, technical expertise, and material resources to facilitate the participation of P&G executives and managers in sessions held at our institution.

  • Job Board/Talent Acquisition.

Students at Panamericana will be able to participate in P&G's recruitment process.

  • Research projects.

Joint research projects may be carried out.

  • Spark UP – Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

The groundwork will be laid for Spark UP and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation to drive P&G projects and create a high-impact company.

  • Corporate scholarships.

La Panamericana has a program designed to attract young talent, which it makes available to companies that demonstrate a sense of responsibility and social commitment, with the aim of enabling them to provide scholarships to students.

  • Language Center.

It offers continuing education and training services in national and foreign languages, which will be available to P&G staff and employees.
