Información académica

FORMACIÓN

Terminó sus  estudios profesionales en la Academía de Minería y Metalurgia en  Cracovia recibiendo el grado de maestro ingeniero electricista en  1964. Obtuvo el grado de doctor en ciencias técnicas (1969) y el  grado de doctor habilitado (1977) en el área de control auto­mático en la Academia de Minería y Metalurgia en Cracovia. 

 

DISTINCIONES

  • Desde 1972 hasta 1976 trabajaba como investigador en el Grupo Internacional de Investigación en el Instituto de Problemas de  Control en Muscú, URSS. Desde 1976 hasta 1983 desempeñaba el  cargo de hefe del área de Análisis de Sistemas  en la Academia de  Minería y Metalurgia en Cracovia y colaboraba con el European Workshop on Industrial Computer Systems en Paris, Francia.
  • Entre 1992 a 2000 y luego desde 2002 hasta 2004 fue el Director Internacional de la "Society for Computer  Simulation" en San Diego California, desde 1996 hasta 2006 fue el Director del Centro Mexicano del Instituto Internacional McLeod de las Ciencias de Simulación.
  • Es integrante del Sistema Nacional De Investigadores.

 

EXPERIENCIA DOCENTE

  • Desde  1964 hasta 1972 trabajó en la Academia de Minería y Metalurgia en Cracovia  como profesor.
  • En el  período 1983-86 fue profesor visitante de la Univeridad Nacional  Autonoma de México. A partir de 1986 trabaja como profesor  de la Universidad Panamericana en México.
