Dr. Daniela Salgado Gutiérrez is an academic and researcher specializing in the theory and philosophy of education, moral education, character education, and citizenship education, as well as family and social pedagogy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus, a master’s degree in Marriage and Family (2010), and a Ph.D. in Education with honors ( Cum Laude ) (2018) from the University of Navarra.

Since 2012, she has been a member of the Universidad Panamericana, where she currently serves as Director of Research in the School of Education and Psychology. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses such as Theory of Education and “The Family as an Educational Community,” and has participated in initiatives focused on character development, civic education, and strengthening educational leadership in school and family contexts.

Her academic work seeks to integrate theoretical foundations with pedagogical innovation, fostering the development of virtues, the formation of sound judgment, and educational leadership. She has spoken at TEDx Universidad Panamericana with the talk “How Much Does Your Sack Weigh?” and collaborates with educational communities and organizations interested in the holistic development of students, families, and teachers.

Dr. Sandra Hernández González earned her Ph.D. from the International University of Catalonia in Spain with an outstanding dissertation on the role of desires in Alasdair MacIntyre’s moral philosophy. She holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara; a specialization in Philosophical Anthropology from the National Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences ( Universidad Panamericana ); and a bachelor’s degree from the School of Modern Languages at the University of Guadalajara.

She currently serves as a research professor at the Institute of Humanities and the School of Psychology, where she teaches courses in Anthropology, Ethics, and Psychoaffectivity.
She has presented at various international conferences (London, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States, Italy) and has completed research fellowships at the De Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana (USA).

Based on her doctoral research, she is currently leading a workshop on the education of desires and collaborating on a research project on desires with Finnis Terre University in Chile and Comillas University in Madrid.

Gabriela García Escobar holds a Ph.D. in International Law(magna cum laude) fromthe University of Geneva (Switzerland). She also holds a Master’s degree in International Law from theGraduate Institute of International and Development Studiesin Geneva, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Universidad Panamericana , Guadalajara Universidad Panamericana , with honors.

As part of her professional experience, Dr. García Escobar has served as a research assistant in the Department of International Law at the University of Geneva Law School. She has undertaken several research assignments with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the Permanent Mission of Mexico to the UN in Geneva, and the UN Human Rights Council.

Dr. [Name] is a member of theInternational Law Association and has published numerous articles in specialized journals such as theNordic Journal of Human Rights,Global Jurist, and theOxford Journal of Law and Religion. Her most recent work is the book*Plurality as the Core of Human Rights Universality*, published in New York by Peter Lang.

Industrial Designer and Research Professor with a Ph.D. in Engineering, whose area of expertise focuses on research into design processes for product innovation. He has fifteen years of experience in managing creative projects, consumer product innovation, medical devices, and design education. His professional career includes leadership roles and strategic consulting. He is currently a Level 1 member of the National System of Researchers (SNI).

María del Pilar Sánchez Barajas (Mexico, 1987) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Panamericana 2010), as well as a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (2016 and 2022, both with honors). She completed one year of doctoral studies at the University of Lisbon (from 2018 to 2019). She conducted a research fellowship at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana (January 2024).

She participated as a researcher in the PAPIIT Project “Naturalizing Ethics: Contributions and Problems of the Neurocognitive Turn for Contemporary Moral Philosophy” (IN402715) (2016 and 2017) and served as editor of the book “Naturalizing Practical Philosophy: Ethics in Dialogue with the Neurosciences.” She has published several articles on the ethical and political implications of emotions. She has worked as a professor at the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City campus, since 2011; she is currently a professor and researcher in the Department of Humanities at the Universidad Panamericana, Guadalajara campus. She has participated in the creation and development of various ITED courses.

She has presented at several international conferences, including those in Braga (2019), Barcelona (2013), Ávila (2023), and Rome (2025). She has been a candidate for researcher status with the SNI since 2023.

She has served as a reviewer for applications to the Master’s and Ph.D. programs in Philosophy at UNAM, as a reviewer for SECIHTI projects, as a reviewer for philosophical research publications for Editorial NUN, and as a reviewer for the journal *Efemérides Mexicana*. She currently serves as an advisor for two Ph.D. dissertations in Philosophy at UNAM.

Dr. Friné Velázquez Contreras has more than 20 years of professional experience dedicated to the research and development of supplements, food formulations, nutraceuticals, and functional products.

She currently serves as a Research Professor in the School of Hospitality at the National Institute of Technology ( Universidad Panamericana ) (Guadalajara Campus) and is an active member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) at Level C.

Specialized Training in Nutrition and Food Her solid foundation as a graduate in Pharmaceutical and Biological Chemistry is complemented by highly specialized graduate studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences (Summa Cum Laude) from the Catholic University of Murcia, where she wrote her doctoral dissertation on active packaging technology for the release of natural antimicrobial agents in food. In addition, she holds a Specialization in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a Master’s degree in Quality Systems, and a Certificate in Food and Beverage Product Development.

As a researcher in Food Science and Technology, she specializes in the development of natural active ingredients to enhance the synergy between food compounds and in the design of biodegradable active packaging for food preservation. As a result of this technological work, she holds two registered patents focused on processes and polymeric matrices of polylactic acid with thymol and carvacrol encapsulated in β-cyclodextrins. In terms of collaboration, she is a member of the Molecular Recognition and Encapsulation Research Group at UCAM and has participated in projects to design new food products.

In the field of health and nutrition, her research focuses on functional foods enriched with bioactive phytochemicals and their nutritional implications. One of her current research projects with the greatest impact is the development and characterization of active compounds that promote longevity. She also has extensive experience in nutrition and the development of meal plans.

Rafael Hurtado is a Tenured Research Professor (Level B) at the Institute of Humanities at the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana), Guadalajara Campus. He is a Level 1 member of the National System of Researchers. He completed his master’s and doctoral studies at the University of Navarra in Spain. He is an active member of the academic committee of the International Observatory on the Family (UNAM-Mexico) and of the journal *The Natural Family* (IOF-USA).

He is a visiting professor at: Universidad Panamericana (Aguascalientes Campus); CIHE-Universidad del Istmo (Guatemala); and ICF-Universidad Austral (Argentina).

In recent years, he has directed the Work, Family, and Society Research Group (GIFTS), which focuses on the following four thematic areas: Family and Home, Family and Society, Family and the Media, and Family and Business. In addition, he is the author of more than 40 scholarly publications, including the books *Fatherhood in the Thought of Karol Wojtyla* (Eunsa, 2021, 2nd ed.) and *Oikía and Polis: The Family, Root and Soul of Every Society* (Eunsa, 2023). His primary line of research addresses the concepts of fatherhood and motherhood from the perspective of domestic family life.
