Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes; March 24, 2026.— The Universidad Panamericana AguascalientesUniversidad Panamericana , through the School of Economics and Business, successfully held the seventh edition of the High School Business Case Competition (High School BCC), establishing itself as one of the most important academic competitions in Mexico for high school students interested in the business field.
This competition, based on the case study methodology, aims to provide students with a practical learning environment in which they can develop cross-disciplinary and multidisciplinary skills—such as critical thinking, creativity, strategic analysis, and collaborative work—in a setting that simulates decision-making in real-world companies.
A high-quality academic experience
Thirteen teams from various educational institutions across the country participated in the 2026 edition, each consisting of five students and an academic coach.
Over the course of two intensive days, the teams took on the challenge of solving three business cases designed to assess their analytical skills, strategic vision, and communication skills:
- Case #1: Rewine “Wine Podcast” by Líder Empresarial
- Case #2: San Francisco Packing Plant
- Case #3: The 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show
Each team presented strategic solutions to a panel of judges made up of academic experts and business leaders, who evaluated the depth of the analysis, the feasibility of the solutions, and the strength of the arguments.
Winners of the 2026 High School Business Case Competition
After a highly competitive academic contest and a closely contested final, the results were as follows: first place: Colegio Guadiana La Salle (Durango), second place: Instituto Lomas del Real (San Luis Potosí), and third place: Colegio El Peñón (State of Morelos).
The team from Guadiana La Salle School stood out for the strength of their strategic proposals, the clarity of their presentation, and their ability to respond precisely to the jury’s questions.
Special awards were also presented to the most enthusiastic team—an honor won by El Peñón School—and to the best speaker, an award received by Jesús Alfonso Frías Cussin of Guadiana La Salle School for his outstanding communication skills, leadership, and stage presence.
