Aguascalientes, Ags. August 7, 2023.- After three years, the Language Center of our Panamerican University resumed the organization of the congress Universidad Panamericana Teachers' Conference called UPTC 2023, with the general theme "Facing and Adapting to ELT in Modern Times", which was held at the facilities of the Postgraduate building on our Aguascalientes campus.

After the interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the degree of enthusiasm and desire to resume and attend this congress by the university community was notorious, as there was a great response from English teachers who had already participated in previous years, as well as many new faces.
Participants
Salvador Barrientos, head of the Language Center welcomed all the participants and of course, the international speakers who kindly offered their lectures; Peter Reilly, Philip Haines, Ricardo Gonzalez, Sarah Brown, Claudia Klauditz, Ricardo Morales, Benjamin Stewart and Lucia Buttaro are the personalities who shared their experiences and teachings through their lectures.
The audience was balanced in a nice integration of English professors from several local universities and institutions, as well as from other states and also, there were several representatives from the Guadalajara and Mexico City campuses. It was very satisfying for the organizers to see and feel the integration of so many English teachers who shared their personal and professional experiences during the lectures and breaks.
The academic secretary, Monica Castillo , and the Head of the Language Center, Salvador Barrientos, together with a team composed of full-time professors from the same department, organized this event from start to finish, which, according to comments from the attendees, was a complete success.
The Language Center of our Aguascalientes campus sincerely thanks all the speakers who made this Congress a successful learning experience. Also, the deepest gratitude goes to all the attendees, as well as to the members of the organizing committee and the supporting students who together made this event happen with harmony and professionalism.
