COIL courses

In UP we have conducted 100 COILs (60 of them last year). It is a methodology in which we believe and we are betting on. If you are interested in developing a COIL course with one of our teachers, write to Norma Ávila: navila@up.edu.mx

 

 

International Summer School for teachers

Every June and July we invite foreign teachers to teach intensive courses of one to three weeks (face-to-face, distance learning, in Spanish or English). If you are interested in applying, please send your resume between September and March to Vanessa De Alba at valba@up.edu.mx.

 

 

Tailor-made programs at UP

We have conducted multiple short courses for leading foreign universities. These can be any campus, 100% in English and with the participation of local students. In case of interest, please contact Jamel Gorra: jgorra@up.edu.mx.

Tailor-made programs

Courses can focus on topics in Business, Engineering, Education, Humanities, Law, Communication and Health. They can be taught by UP professors, foreign professors or a mix of both. They can include Spanish language instruction, cultural tours and sessions on Mexican culture, among others.

 

Among the services available are the following:

 

  • Classes by UP professors
  • External guests from different sectors (private sector, public sector, foundations, etc.)
  • Spanish course customized to the level(s) of the group
  • Arrival assistance
  • Lodging coordination
  • Support in visa procedures
  • Welcome and orientation activities
  • Farewell activities
  • Cultural, tourist and gastronomic activities
  • Assistance from the International Affairs team and student coordinators
