SIPASA celebrates delivery of groceries, supplies and hygiene items

Mexico City, October 11, 2024. San José de Toxi, located in the municipality of Atlacomulco, State of Mexico, was recently the scene of important social actions organized by the Mazahua Association I.A.P.the Panamerican Assistance Society I.A.P. Sociedad de Asistencia Panamericana I.A.P. (SIPASA), of the Universidad Panamericana, and the Private Assistance Board of the State of Mexico (JAPEM).

These initiatives, carried out in the facilities of the Mazahua Association I.A.P. between July and September 2024, benefited more than 450 families in the community, promoting education, health and general wellbeing.

Food support: delivery of food pantries

From July 20 to 26, 2024, the delivery of pantries with non-perishable items was carried out, reaching more than 300 families. This initiative was made possible thanks to the Say yes to rounding upcampaign, organized in collaboration with the OXXO chain of stores and JAPEM, in which OXXO customers were the main donors.

The campaign sought to comitigate food insecurity in the region, highlighting the importance of proper nutrition and promoting healthy habits among the beneficiaries.. The pantries contained essential products that will facilitate families' access to a balanced diet.

Boosting education: donation of school supplies

Promoting health: donation of personal hygiene items

From August 12 to 23, 2024, the Mazahua Association and SIPASA organized a campaign to deliver personal hygiene items. Thanks to a generous donation from SABA, managed by JAPEM, products such as sanitary napkins, toilet paper and disinfectants were distributed to more than 50 families.

The three campaigns (food pantries, school supplies and hygiene items) were a clear example of the synergy between different organizations and companies committed to social welfare.
