Mexico City, January 24, 2024 - A year ago, the Vice Rector's Office for Research of the University of Mexico (Vicerrectoría General de Investigación de la Universidad Autónoma de México) set out an ambitious path as part of its strategy to Universidad Panamericana The main objective is to secure the necessary resources for our researchers to continue advancing in their research work. During this time, the actions undertaken by the Office of the Vice Rector General for Research have generated significant learning and have identified areas of opportunity that benefit our entire research community.

This strategic thrust has led to the creation of a training plan designed to enhance the participation of our researchers in externally funded research projects.

The training sessions seek not only to strengthen skills, but also to increase the chances of success in the calls in which the researchers of our institution participate.

About the training

The training plan on external funds for research projects will last five months and will conclude in June 2024. The starting point of this program took place on January 19 with Module 1: Formulation of International Projects.

This course was masterfully taught by the outstanding consultant expert in Internationalization of Higher Education, Maximiliano SainzM. Sc., with the active participation of more than 80 professors from different schools and faculties.

Maximiliano brings more than 19 years of experience as a consultant specializing in internationalization of higher education and international cooperation in Latin America .

With an impressive track record of more than 140 trainings in 14 countries, his practice and knowledge have been a valuable contribution to our researchers.
