ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; August 31, 2022.—On Tuesday, August 23, a collaboration agreement was signed between the Universidad Panamericana, through its School of Communication, and the State Entertainment Agency.

Signing of a collaboration agreement

This agreement will, first and foremost, allow students to become involved and actively participate in the agency’s activities—such as the October Festivals and other cultural and recreational events—through a professional internship program.

In addition, the School of Communication—specifically the Bachelor’s Program in Communication and Audiovisual Creation —has established a partnership with the Jalisco State Film Commission to promote initiatives that foster the development of young talent from Jalisco and support their professional growth within the state. In other words, we aim to provide more opportunities and platforms for communicators to advance their careers.

The event was attended by: Rafael Santana, director of the School of Communication; Esteban Estrada, director of the State Entertainment Agency; Jorge Riggen, director of Filma Jalisco (Jalisco State Film Commission); and Gabriel Domínguez, director of the Bachelor’s Program in Communication and Audiovisual Creation.

La Panamericana congratulates the School of Communication for establishing and strengthening professional connections that help our students develop their talents and careers, with the hope that they will strive to make a positive contribution to society. That is why we seek to support the university community so that students can build a strong academic, professional, and personal foundation.
