Mexico City, June 15, 2022.- The Universidad Panamericana, at its postgraduate headquarters in Santa Fe, held the conference The managerial challenges of education after the pandemic, organized by the Master in Management of Educational Institutions.organized by the Master's Program in Educational Institutions Management, which was given by Dr. José Manuel Núñez Pliego, Rector Emeritus of Universidad Panamericana.

This event brought together more than 30 school principals from all levels of education, who did not miss the opportunity to reflect on the strengthening of their educational projects and the challenges that have arisen in the school ecosystem as a result of the pandemic.

Prior to the beginning of the presentation, Dr. Mónica Villarreal García, Director of the School of Education, thanked the participants for their enthusiastic attendance, which was also attended by Almudena Vaca Romero, Director of Strategy, Development and Quality of Graduate Studies, and José Francisco Cobela Vargas, Director of Graduate Studies of the School of Education.

During his presentation, Dr. Núñez put forward a series of ideas that frame the reality that, as of 2020, has been reflected in the broad field of education, placing special emphasis on a direction that has become uncertain, difficult, lonely and with little information .

In this way, he encouraged the attendees to reflect on what is permanent and changing in order not to start from scratch, to improve what is done well and to integrate everyone into a school culture that promotes personalization, active learning methodologies and responsibility with a society that urgently needs attention in multiple dimensions .

At the end of the conference, the attendees shared their conclusions about the inexhaustible source of opportunities that the educational task implies. Finally, Mr. Cobela thanked on behalf of the School of Pedagogy and encouraged the attendees to share a complimentary toast, but not before emphasizing the importance of the professionalization of management in school environments.
