March 22, 2023.- The Mission and Spirit Cycle (CiME) is a permanent cycle of training on topics of mission and spirit aimed at all employees and collaborators of the Universidad Panamericana campus Aguascalientes, to align the vision, mission, spirit and identity of the institution. This semester, the third edition was held during each week of March.
CiME
At the initiative of the rector Dr. Gabriel Domínguez García Villalobos and with the support of the Institutional Communication team coordinated by Francisco García Pimentel, director of Institutional Communication at the Aguascalientes campus, the CiME is held every semester; Dr. Gabriel is the one who determines the topics to be discussed.
The first year that this event was held, the theme of communication and identity was addressed so that the entire administrative community belonging to the institution could communicate better; the second year we worked on work systems, the 5 S's of productivity, etc.; and this year the main theme was the family.
"Somehow we all always have a lot of work and we are always running around and it is good to take a break from time to time to talk about the things that give Universidad Panamericanaits personality and specific characteristics," says Francisco García Pimentel.
Speakers
This program includes one hundred percent of all the University's collaborators, from the rector to the last person in operations, so that together they are all participants and listeners of the same conferences in the same space; each semester four speakers are invited to give conferences divided into four thematic areas.
"The results of this CiME cycle can be seen in the corridors, in the people, that people do their work better, that people feel more identified in their personal project and the mission of Universidad Panamericana," he adds.
In the first session on March 1, Dr. Gabriel Domínguez García Villalobos gave a lecture on "Why the family? In this session, the topic of the family and why the UP is always in the social equation on the side of the family was discussed in broad strokes.
The second session was the conference "Family: cultural battle, spiritual battle", given by Rubén Darío Gómez Arnaiz on March 8. He addressed the challenges facing the family in the modern world.
During the third session on March 15, the guest speaker was Ms. Daniela Farah, who gave a lecture on "Image and personal branding", a topic that is very relevant today in terms of image and personal style, in the context that nowadays many universities no longer require a dress code, and UP is no exception.
Finally, to close this semester's cycle, Mr. Ignacio Cervantes presented the conference "He and She: rewriting the code of love", aimed at couples and marriages, where the importance of teamwork was discussed. aimed at couples and married couples, where the importance of teamwork was discussed.
