UP and Oftálmica 20/20 team up to promote eye health

Mexico City, Mexico, September 12, 2023 - The Universidad Panamericanain collaboration with ANCORA y Oftálmica 20/20took an important step towards the promotion and prevention of the visual health of its employees during the last Benefits Fair that took place on July 6, 2023.

This event, which is held periodically, seeks to provide employees with access to a variety of services and resources that promote their overall well-being.

Prevention and health care

On this occasion, the focus was on prevention and health care; with the outstanding participation of Oftálmica 20/20, a company specialized in the revision and care of people's eye health.

The objective of this company was to provide employees with access to free ophthalmological exams, discounted glasses and preferential prices, as well as advice on ophthalmological surgeries.

A total of 125 Panamericana employees approached eye care specialists and 37 ophthalmological exams were performed to evaluate their visual health. In addition, 11 pairs of eyeglasses were sold at special prices, allowing those in need to improve their vision affordably.

Seven ophthalmologic surgery counseling sessions were also held, providing information and guidance to those considering surgical procedures to improve their eye health.

The initiative received an enthusiastic response from Panamericana's employees, who appreciated the opportunity to take care of their vision and have access to quality ophthalmological services.
