ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; June 28, 2024.- In its firm commitment to social responsibility and care for the environment, the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara successfully carried out the 3rd Official Paper Recycling Campaign from May 29 to June 11, 2024. Under the slogan "Recycle and Reuse", this initiative sought to involve the entire university community in sustainable practices.
3rd Paper Recycling Campaign
During the campaign, 30 people actively participated, collecting a total of 94 kg of paper and 41 kg of cardboard. These materials, from paper, magazines, newspapers, books and cardboard accumulated during the semester, were delivered by students and collaborators.
The collected material was donated to Mi Gran Esperanza A.C., an organization dedicated to supporting children and adolescents with cancer. Through recycling, this association generates funds that are destined to its various projects, providing comprehensive support to affected families.
The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara is deeply grateful to all participants for their generosity and commitment, reaffirming its dedication to environmental education and building a sustainable future. This campaign not only promotes recycling, but also strengthens social awareness within the university community, demonstrating that together we can make a significant difference.
