Zapopan, Jalisco; November 16, 2023.—As part of its commitment to accountability and professional ethics, the Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara campus received the Safe and Healthy Work Environments (ELSSA) award for its outstanding work in this area.
What is ELSSA?
ELSSA is a collaborative initiative between the government, employers, and partners, designed to promote health and well-being in all aspects of the workplace. This program takes an innovative approach by working closely with companies to improve the work environment, prevent workplace accidents and illnesses, encourage healthy lifestyles, and promote violence-free environments.
Recognition of the Pan-American Highway
This year, Panamericana received this award, presented by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), for promoting the prevention of workplace accidents, the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, occupational health surveillance, and the general promotion of health and well-being.
