    Clara Luz Álvarez González de Castilla

    Clara-Luz Álvarez es profesora investigadora de la Universidad Panamericana y pertenece al Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores (nivel 3).

    Ha sido experta en Derecho de Telecomunicaciones en los arbitrajes internacionales CIADI Caso No. UNCT/17/1 Joshua Dean Nelson c. Estados Unidos Mexicanos y CIADI Caso No. ARB(AF)/17/2 Eutelsat, S.A. c. Estados Unidos Mexicanos.

    Clara Luz es autora de los libros Satellite and Outer Space Law (2025), Derecho Satelital y del Espacio Exterior (2023), Tribunales Especializados en Telecomunicaciones (2020), Telecomunicaciones y Radiodifusión en México (2018), Telecomunicaciones en la Constitución (2017), El regulador de telecomunicaciones: Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (2017), Derechos de los Usuarios de Telecomunicaciones (2015), Derecho de las Telecomunicaciones, 3ª ed. (2014) e Internet y Derechos Fundamentales (2011), coordinadora del libro Telecomunicaciones y Tecnologías de la Información (2012), así como de diversos capítulos en libros y ensayos en revistas arbitradas.

    Clara Luz es secretaria ejecutiva y consejera del Consejo Ciudadano para la Seguridad y Justicia de la Ciudad de México, consejera del Consejo Consultivo del Consumo de la Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor y consejera del Consejo Consultivo de la Publicidad Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios (Cofepris), así como columnista de Reforma.

    Clara Luz recibió Premio Nacional de Periodismo por divulgación de la cultura democrática por su conducción del programa Código Democracia del Canal del Congreso (2014). Ha sido experta de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones en accesibilidad a las telecomunicaciones por personas con discapacidad. Fue consejera del Consejo Consultivo del Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (2015-2017); relatora de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones de accesibilidad a las tecnologías de la información y comunicaciones (TIC) por personas con discapacidad (2006-2011); comisionada de la Comisión Federal de Telecomunicaciones (2003-2006) y titular del Área General de Asuntos Jurídicos de dicha Comisión (2003-2005).

    Clara Luz es doctora en Derecho con mención honorífica (Universidad Panamericana), maestra en Derecho Comparado (New York University), maestra en Ciencias Jurídicas (Universidad Panamericana) y licenciada en Derecho donde obtuvo mención honorífica y el promedio más alto de la Escuela de Ciencias Sociales (Universidad de las Américas-Puebla).

    Cecilia María Coronado Angulo

    Cecilia Coronado Angulo holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra, Spain. She studied a Master in Government and Culture of Organizations at the same University and has a degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico. Since August 2014 she is a professor and researcher at the Institute of Humanities at the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico) where she teaches Social Philosophy and Selected Topics in Contemporary Culture. She is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI), level 1, and of the Philosophical Association of Mexico (AFM). His most recent publications are: "Group Asylum, Sovereignty, and the Ethics of Care", (Social Sciences, 2020, Vol. 9, No. 8), "Razón instrumental, sociedad e instituciones" (2019, EUNSA, Pamplona) and "La libertad como condición de la justicia en Axel Honneth" (Open Insight, 2018, Vol. 9 No. 15). His lines of research are Social Philosophy, Frankfurt School, social institutions and migration.

  • Andrée Marie López Fernández

    Andrée Marie López Fernández

    Professor Andrée Marie López Fernández received her PhD degree in Administrative Sciences from EGADE Business School in 2015 and Specialization in Philosophical Anthropology from Universidad Panamericana in 2018. Since 2016, she has been working at Universidad Panamericana (Mexico) where she has been Professor and Researcher of the Business School and Coordinator of the Fellowship for the Training of Young Researchers program. She is Associate Editor of EEMCS and member of the National System of Researchers, level 1 by CONACYT. She has publications in scientific journals indexed in Scopus such as Journal of Marketing Analytics, International Journal of Business Excellence, International Journal of Business Innovation and Research, and International Journal of Business Data Communications and Networking. His research interests are corporate social responsibility, stakeholder value-added, consumer behavior, corporate governance, social networks, and leadership.

  • Alma Delia Zamorano Rojas

    Alma Delia Zamorano Rojas

    PhD in Political and Social Sciences with a specialization in Communication from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Master's degree and bachelor's degree in Communication from UNAM. She has a specialization in Anthropology from the Universidad Panamericana several diplomas in Film and Mexican cinema from leading institutions. She is currently a full-time professor and researcher at the Universidad Panamericana.

    Her teaching and research activities focus on the social sciences and humanities, with an emphasis on the study of audiovisual culture and cinema. She has given lectures and presentations at national and international events. She is the author of articles, book chapters, and books in this line of research. Since 2010, she has been a member of CONACYT's National System of Researchers.

    Mariano Emmanuel Navarro Arroyo

    Professor Mariano Navarro holds degrees in Journalism and Philosophy, as well as a PhD in Communication. During his doctoral studies he was Visiting Scholar at the universities of Iowa, USA, and Westminster, England. His doctoral thesis was awarded the Extraordinary Doctoral Prize in Social Sciences at the University of Navarra. Since 2011 he works at Universidad Panamericana, Campus Mexico, where he is Full Research Professor A, and has held positions as Head of Research Academy, Academic Secretary and currently Director of the School. He is a member of the National System of Researchers, as well as of several academic and research associations. His interests and academic production focus on the philosophy of communication and media, the historical origin of communication studies and the intersections between media and religion.

    Luis Xavier López Farjeat

    Luis Xavier López-Farjeat received his PhD in Philosophy and Letters from the University of Navarra, Spain, in 2001. He is a tenured professor-researcher D in the Faculty of Philosophy at Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City Campus. He is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level III. He is editor of Tópicos, Revista de Filosofía (https://revistas.up.edu.mx/topicos). He is associate director of "Aquinas and 'the Arabs' International Working Group" (www.AquinasAndTheArabs.org). His areas of interest are classical Arabic and Islamic philosophy, argumentation theory, epistemology and philosophy of mind, ethics and political philosophy, ethics of migration, philosophy of religion and philosophy of art. He has published several books and numerous scholarly articles and book chapters on these topics. In 2021 he published Routledge's Classical Islamic Philosophy: A Thematic Introduction.

    Laura Trujillo Liñán

    Laura Trujillo-Liñán es profesora e investigadora de Humanidades, Comunicación y Filosofía en la Universidad Panamericana. Dirige la Universidad Abierta UP. Es Vicepresidente de la Media Ecology Association, miembro del Consejo del General Semantics Institute de la Ciudad de Nueva York, miembro del Instituto Promotor del Bien Común (UPAEP), miembro de la International Communication Association (ICA) y de la Asociación Filosófica de México (AFM), forma parte del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores en la Ciudad de México (SNI). Posee una licenciatura y maestría en Filosofía. Además, obtuvo su doctorado en Historia del Pensamiento en la Universidad Panamericana con una tesis sobre la Causa Formal en el pensamiento de Marshall McLuhan y Aristóteles. Es ganadora del Premio Marshall McLuhan de la Media Ecology Association por su libro Formal Cause in Marshall McLuhan’s Thinking: An Aristotelian Perspective. Ha escrito numerosos artículos y capítulos de libros sobre temas relacionados con Marshall McLuhan, Aristóteles, metafísica, ética y medios.

    Juan Francisco Díez Spelz

    He holds a PhD in Law, a Master's degree in Legal Sciences, a Master's degree in Business Law, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Universidad Panamericana. He holds a Master's degree in Human Rights Theory and Practice from the University of Essex (United Kingdom), where he was part of the working group on Business and Human Rights. He also holds a diploma in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford.

    He is currently a tenured research professor at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City campus. He conducts research and consulting on business and human rights, responsible business conduct, ESG criteria, and international human rights law, as well as the philosophical, anthropological, and political foundations of these rights. He also explores the links between law, artificial intelligence, and new technologies. He teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses at the Panamericana and other national and international institutions on subjects such as Philosophy of Law, Logic and Legal Argumentation, Human Rights, and Research Methodology.

    He has published articles in indexed scientific journals and contributed to collective books and popular media.

    He is a member of CONAHCYT's National System of Researchers (SNII), level I, as well as an honorary member of the Mexican Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation and the Illustrious and National Bar Association of Mexico.

    Juan Antonio Casanovas Esquivel

    Juan Antonio Casanovas Esquivel has a law degree, a specialist in tax law, a master's degree in legal sciences and a doctorate in law, all degrees obtained from Universidad Panamericana and with honorable mention.

    He is currently a full time Research Professor at the School of Law of Universidad Panamericana, where he also served as academic director of the Master's Degree in Financial Law Institutions and Academic Secretary of the Bachelor's Degree.

    He is a National Researcher Level I of the National System of Researchers of CONACYT and author of the books "Al maestro con cariño: El cine y la enseñanza del Derecho Comparado" published by the Postgraduate Law Division of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and "El hombre en tanto hombre: la ley natural y los bienes humanos básicos según John Finnis a la luz del cine" published by the Spanish publishing house Sindéresis.
