  • José María Soberanes Díez

    José María Soberanes Díez


    Originally from Mexico City, he holds a law degree, a master's degree in legal sciences, and a doctorate in law, with honors, from the Faculty of Law at
    the Universidad Panamericana.
    o He worked for seven years at the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, where he was
    secretary of study and account. He then moved on to work in the academic field
    . For more than a decade, he has been a professor and researcher at the Universidad
    Panamericana campus in Mexico City, and he is also a visiting professor at other universities
    in the country.
    o At the Universidad Panamericana, he has held the position of academic secretary and director of the
    postgraduate program in law, and he is currently the research secretary of the Faculty of
    Law.
    o He is a Level II National Researcher in the National System of Researchers of the
    CONACYT.
    o He is the author of various articles in specialized journals, several book chapters, and
    seven books:
    —Teoría del Proceso (Theory of Process),
    —La jurisprudencia del Poder Judicial de la Federación (The Jurisprudence of the Federal Judiciary),
    —La igualdad y la desigualdad jurídicas (Legal Equality and Inequality),
    —El derecho a la educación en México (The Right to Education in Mexico),
    —Análisis formal de las reformas constitucionales (Formal Analysis of Constitutional Reforms),
    —Conflicts between constitutional bodies and the Federal Judiciary, and
    —Reforms to the 1917 Constitution.


    He has also co-authored two books and is a columnist for El Universal.
    He is the section editor of the journal Cuestiones Constitucionales, a member of the editorial committee of the journal Ratio Decidendi, and a member of the scientific committees of the journals Tohil
    (from the Autonomous University of Yucatán) and the Yearbook of the Faculty of Law of the University of Extremadura
    . He is also a member of the Council of the Institute of International Legal Studies (
    ) at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain.
    He is a member of the Ibero-American Institute of Constitutional Law (Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Constitucional) and the International Society of Public Law (
    ).

  • Jorge Eduardo Brieva Rico

    Jorge Eduardo Brieva Rico

    Dr. Jorge Eduardo Brieva Rico received a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1993 from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the same University which he completed in 1995. He then traveled to France as a French government scholarship holder to pursue a second master's degree in Image Processing at the University of Rennes 1 and a PhD in Signal Processing at the same university where he received his PhD degree in 2001. In 2016 he completed a specialization in Philosophical Anthropology at Universidad Panamericana, campus Mexico. Since 2012 he has been working at Universidad Panamericana, where he is currently a Full Researcher D in the Faculty of Engineering. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers (Conacyt), level 1. He has numerous publications in his research areas, which are segmentation, and interpretation of medical images as well as monitoring of vital signs from video processing.

    Iñigo Fernández Fernández

    Es licenciado y maestro en historia por la Universidad Iberoamericana y Doctor en Documentación de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. En la actualidad se desempeña como profesor-investigador y Secretario de Investigación de la Escuela de Comunicación de la Universidad Panamericana. Es miembro del SNII (nivel I), de la Red Internacional de Historiógrafos de la Comunicación, de la Red de Historiadores de la Prensa y el Periodismo en Iberoamérica y del Consejo Editorial de Balajú. Revista de Cultura y Comunicación de la Universidad Veracruzana.

  • Hiram Eredin Ponce Espinosa

    Hiram Eredin Ponce Espinosa

    Professor Hiram Ponce received the degrees of Master in Engineering Sciences and PhD in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2010 and 2013, respectively. Since 2014 he has been working at Universidad Panamericana Campus Mexico, where he has been Full Research Professor D in the School of Engineering, as well as Coordinator of the PhD in Artificial Intelligence. He is currently Secretary of Research. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers, level 1 (by the National Council of Science and Technology). In 2014 he was recognized with the "Premio Nacional a Mejor Tesis Doctoral sobre Inteligencia Artificial" by the Sociedad Mexicana de Inteligencia Artificial. In 2017 he was the winner of the "Google Research Award". He has more than 120 publications in prestigious journals and conferences, 4 books and 9 book chapters. His research interests are artificial intelligence, robotics, mechatronics and assisted living technologies.

  • Héctor Jesús Zagal Arreguín

    Héctor Jesús Zagal Arreguín

    Researcher, novelist and cultural disseminator, Zagal holds a degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Panamericana and a PhD from the Universidad de Navarra. He is currently a category D research professor at the Universidad Panamericana, professor by subject at the Graduate School of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and member of the National System of Researchers, level III.

    Carlos Pereda, Alejandro Llano, Mauricio Beuchot and Carlos Llano have been decisive in his academic formation and he considers himself a disciple of these philosophers.

    In addition to several articles in specialized journals, he has published the books: Retórica, inducción y ciencia en Aristóteles (Mexico, 1991), Los límites de la argumentación ética en Aristóteles, (co-authored with Sergio Aguilar, Mexico, 1996), Ethik für junge Menschen (co-authored with José Galindo, Germany, 2000), Dos aproximaciones estéticas a la identidad nacional: el barroco y el surrealismo (co-authored with Luis Xavier López, Mexico, 2000), El rescate ético de la empresa y el mercado (co-authored with Carlos Llano, Mexico, 2001), Horismos, syllogismos, asapheia en Aristóteles (Spain, 2002), Método y ciencia en Aristóteles (Mexico, 2005), Los argumentos de Aristóteles (Spain, 2009), Felicidad, virtud, placer. Las vida buena según Aristóteles (Mexico, 2013), Felicidad y amistad en Aristóteles (Mexico, 2014), Para comprender el pensamiento de Carlos Llano (Mexico, 2014), Virtudes: la trama de la felicidad según Aristóteles (co-authored with Víctor Gómez, Mexico, 2019). He compiled the volumes Aristóteles y aristotélicos (together with Alberto Fonseca Mexico, 2002) and Metafísica, acción y voluntad: homenaje a Carlos Llano (together with Edgar Rodríguez Mexico, 2005).

    In addition to his work as a researcher, Zagal develops an intense work of cultural dissemination through books, articles, radio, conferences and social networks. Since 2010, he has hosted the program "El Banquete del Dr. Zagal" on MVS Radio. He has published seven novels with Planeta, six of which are historical. Imperio, about Maximilian of Habsburg, was taken to the theater and has been performed since 2013 at the Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City.

    Griselda Dávila Aragón

    Griselda Dávila A, received a PhD in Financial Sciences from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México in 2014, a Master in Insurance and Risk Management from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2009, a Specialist in Risk Management and Philosophical Anthropology from Universidad Panamericana (UP) in 2008 and 2021 respectively, and a Bachelor in Actuarial Science from ITAM in 2000. She completed the D1 program offered by IPADE in 2022. He has worked at UP, CdMx since 2006, where he has been Research Professor and Academic Secretary of the Business School from 2019 to date. He is a member of the SNI, level 1 and professor categorized as Titular B. He has publications in Scopus journals and refereed books on financial topics. He has taught for 20 years in undergraduate and graduate courses at UP, ITAM, ITESM and UNAM. He has held management positions in financial institutions in the public and private sectors.

  • Germán Roberto Scalzo

    Germán Roberto Scalzo

    Germán Scalzo holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Austral, a master's degree in Organizational Governance and Culture, and an international doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Navarra. He has done research stays in Holland, Italy and the United States, was a guest professor at several foreign universities and participated in international congresses in more than 20 countries. He obtained numerous distinctions, among them, a post-doctoral fellowship from Fundación Carolina; five consecutive FFIUP projects as principal investigator and the first prize of the Global Prize Ethics & Trust in Finance in Switzerland. He has published over a hundred indexed publications of an interdisciplinary nature on the relationship between Christian humanism and personalist ethics, with economics and business. He is currently Full Professor D of professional ethics at the Faculty of Economics and Business and a member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico, level 1, since 2016.

    Gabriel González Nares

    Gabriel González Nares es maestro en Filosofía Antigua por la Universidad
    Panamericana, México y licenciado en Filosofía por la misma universidad. Ha sido
    profesor de filosofía en el Colegio Montreal y en el departamento de Humanidades, y las
    Escuela de ciencias de la salud y la Escuela de gobierno y economía de la Universidad
    Panamericana, donde, en la actualidad, es profesor-investigador asociado de tiempo
    completo en la Escuela de pedagogía, donde fue secretario editorial de la Revista
    Panamericana de pedagogía. Ha asistido a congresos internacionales sobre filosofía
    medieval. Ha publicado artículos especializados sobre estos temas en revistas
    internacionales. Es miembro de la Asociación filosófica de México, la Asociación
    latinoamericana de filosofía antigua. Actualmente es candidato a doctor en filosofía en la
    Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

  • Felix Orlando Martinez Rios

    Felix Orlando Martinez Rios

    Professor Felix Orlando Martinez Rios received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in 2006 and 2009, respectively, obtaining Summa Cum Laude recognition in both. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics with a major in Nuclear Techniques applied to Materials Science from the University of Havana, Cuba in 1980. Since 1997 he has worked at Universidad Panamericana campus Mexico City, where he has served as Director of Industrial Engineering in 1998, Director of Computer Systems Engineering from 1999 to 2009 and General Director of the School of Engineering from 2009 to 2016. He is currently Full Professor D. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers, level I. His research interests are focused on developing new algorithms for Optimization, Quantum Computing, Applied Data Science and Mobile Robotics.

  • Ernesto Moya Albor

    Ernesto Moya Albor

    Ernesto Moya Albor received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from UNAM in 2007 and 2013. In 2003 he received the degree of Engineer in Communications and Electronics from the IPN and in 2015 he received the degree of Specialist in Philosophical Anthropology from the UP. He has a career of 19 years as Professor in Engineering. In 2013 he joined as Research Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. In 2021 he was recognized by UP as Full Research Professor D. In addition, since 2018 he is a member of the National System of Researchers and is currently SNI level 1. He has been a PhD tutor and participated in UP research projects. He has more than 50 indexed scientific publications. His research interests are motion analysis, stenography and image cryptography; robotic navigation and non-contact vital signs monitoring. He is a member of several scientific committees in international journals.

  • Enrique Martín Murillo Othón

    Enrique Martín Murillo Othón

    Professor Enrique Murillo Othón holds a degree in Actuarial Science from UNAM and a master's degree in Information Technology Management from ITESM. He holds a master's degree in Research Methods for the Social Sciences and a PhD in Management from the University of Bradford in England. He later completed a postdoctoral program in Organizational Behavior at Tulane University, and a research sabbatical at Temple University in Philadelphia. He joined the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universidad Panamericana in 2018, where he is currently Professor of Marketing and Researcher C. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers, level 1. He has published in scientific journals in the first quartile of Scopus, such as Journal of Service Management, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Journal of Product and Brand Management and Journal of Business Research. His line of research is internal branding.
