    Gustavo Da Encarnação Galvão França

    Bachelor of Laws from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Master of Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain). Research Professor at the Institute of Humanities at the Universidad Panamericana.

    Previously, from 2024 to 2026, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Humanities at the Universidad Panamericana; from 2021 to 2026, he was a professor in the School of Philosophy at Academia Atlântica (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).

    He has published two books and several academic articles, primarily on Kant's ethics, as well as on other topics in moral philosophy, the philosophy of law, natural law, and the history of modern philosophy.

  • Carlos Diego Arenas Pacheco

    Carlos Diego Arenas Pacheco

    Carlos Diego Arenas Pacheco is an educational historian and a full-time professor and researcher at the Universidad Panamericana. He holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Medieval Studies from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from La Salle University.

    His research focuses on the history of education, colonial education, boarding schools for Indigenous children, Indigenous literature, and the reception of the classics, with a special emphasis on educational and intellectual practices that developed in Europe, the Americas, and Asia during the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries. He works with archival sources and texts produced by European authors as well as by Nahua, Quechua, Tagalog, Chinese, and Japanese intellectuals. He has also researched topics in contemporary education, particularly lifelong learning. He has published in *History of Education Quarterly*, *Revista de Historia*, and the *Journal of World Literature*, and has participated in international conferences and academic projects. He has been a fellow at the John Carter Brown Library, the Newberry Library, and the National Academy of Education/Spencer Foundation. At the Universidad Panamericana , he teaches courses in the areas of Philosophy and History of Education and supervises research projects.

  • Virginia Pascual Ramos

    Virginia Pascual Ramos

    Virginia Pascual Ramos is a physician, internist, rheumatologist, and bioethicist. She earned her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition, with academic recognition from UNAM.

    She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Bioethics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana). She is currently the research coordinator at CIBUP at the National Institute of Health and Research ( Universidad Panamericana), a specialist physician at the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition, and an adjunct professor in the rheumatology specialization program at UNAM.

    Her research integrates clinical practice and bioethical reflection, focusing on rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, cardiovascular risk, dignity, autonomy, shared decision-making, the doctor-patient relationship, and therapeutic futility. She has contributed to more than 100 scientific publications and is a member of the international groups ATACC-RA and GLADEL. She has collaborated on the development and updating of national guidelines for the management of rheumatoid arthritis, served as president of the Mexican Council of Rheumatology, and served as a federal advisor to the National Bioethics Commission. At the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana ), she has been involved for many years in the education of undergraduate students and students in the master’s and doctoral programs in bioethics.

  • Celia Mizrahi Nedvedovich

    Celia Mizrahi Nedvedovich

    Ph.D. candidate in law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana ) and holder of a law degree from the same institution. Research professor at the School of Law of the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Panamericana). She is a member of the “Human Rights and the Universal System” research group at the UNAM Institute for Legal Research. Her areas of research include human rights, international law, and constitutional law.

    She has collaborated with civil society organizations specializing in human rights, including the Center for Judicial Ethics, the Network for Ethical Political Action, and the Early Institute. She was a member of Mexico’s official delegation to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Second Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Conference on Population and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean (2015) and at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Regional Conference on Population and Development for Latin America and the Caribbean (2017).

    She has presented research at national and international conferences, including the World Congress of Constitutional Law, the ICON·S – International Society of Public Law Conference, the Mexican Congress on Constitutional Procedural Law, and the Ibero-American Conference on Constitutional Procedural Law. She has been an associate editor of the journal *Ratio Decidendi* and deputy coordinator of the Human Rights Commission of the Illustrious and National Bar Association since 2023.

    She is the author of the articles “The Unconstitutionality of Constitutional Amendments: The Israeli Case and Its Lessons” and “Recognition of Living Beings Through a Normative Grading System Based on Their Dependence, Vulnerability, and Ecological Function”; and she has participated in the drafting of various amicus curiae briefs filed with the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

  • Paulina Monjaraz Fuentes

    Paulina Monjaraz Fuentes

    She holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Panamericana (1997) and a bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce (PUSC) (2001); she earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the same university, specializing in the thought of Edith Stein (2010). She completed her postdoctoral research at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (2014) on the relationship between psychoanalysis and phenomenology. To support her line of research, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Technological University of Mexico (2025).

    In 2020, as a research professor at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, she participated in the design and development of the Interdisciplinary Master’s Program in Peace Studies in collaboration with the academic group “Structures of Power and New Social Paradigms,” thereby strengthening her research in Peace Studies.
    She is currently a full-time professor and researcher at the National Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí ( Universidad Panamericana ), affiliated with the Institute of Humanities. She serves as an adjunct professor in the Master’s program in “Interculturality for Peace and School Conflicts” at the Intercultural University of the State of Mexico.

    He has been a member of the international research group Relational Ontology Research at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross since 2018. He is a member of the International Association for the Study of the Philosophy of Edith Stein (IASPES) and a Level I member of the National System of Researchers (2025–2029). He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Theology with a focus on Trinitarian Ontology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross.

  • Víctor Manuel Arenas Luna

    Víctor Manuel Arenas Luna

    Víctor Manuel Arenas Luna holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from CINVESTAV-IPN (2023), where he also earned a Master of Science degree. He is a chemist, bacteriologist, and parasitologist with a degree from the IPN’s National School of Biological Sciences.

    He is currently a candidate in the SNII and serves as a Research Assistant in the Molecular Biology Laboratory at the School of Medicine, where he participates in training students and developing scientific projects.

    His work focuses on cellular and molecular biology, with an emphasis on oncology, immunomodulation, and stem cells.

    He is currently involved in the development of research protocols aimed at studying the role of mesenchymal stem cells in breast cancer, as well as in the analysis of bioactive compounds derived from Mexican plants with antitumor potential.

    He has published in indexed journals and participated in national and international scientific forums.

  • Sonja Christina Wolf

    Sonja Christina Wolf

    Sonja Wolf holds a Ph.D. in International Politics (University of Aberystwyth, United Kingdom) and is a full-time professor and researcher at the School of Government and Economics at the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City.

    Before joining the National Institute of Public Health ( Universidad Panamericana), she served as a researcher for Mexico (CONAHCYT) assigned to the Drug Policy Program at the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE).

    Previously, she served as a researcher at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and the Institute for Security and Democracy (INSYDE). She has also worked as a human rights officer at the United Nations.

    His research interests focus on issues related to gangs, security, and migration, as well as democratic backsliding and the rise of autocracy, particularly in Central America.

    She is the author of *Mano Dura: The Politics of Gang Control in El Salvador* (University of Texas Press, 2017). Her work has been published in the *Journal of Latin American Studies*, *Latin American Politics and Society*, the *Bulletin of Latin American Research*, *Geopolitics*, the *Revista de Ciencia Política*, and the *International Handbook of Critical Gang Studies*.

    She is also the director of *The Vertical Border* (Mexico, 2022), a feature-length documentary that examines forced migration from Central America to the United States, and of *Colateral* (Mexico, 2024), a short fiction film about the mental health of military personnel in the context of Mexico’s war on drugs.

    She has also produced the podcasts *Voces Migrantes* and *Common Ground With Sonja Wolf*, both available on Spotify and YouTube. She is a member of the SNII (Level 2).

  • Sergio Erick García Barrón

    Sergio Erick García Barrón

    He holds a degree in Food Biochemical Engineering from the Tecnológico de Durango and a Ph.D. in Science and Technology, with a specialization in Sensory Evaluation and Consumer Science, from PICYT (CIATEJ). He is currently a professor and researcher at the School of Hospitality at the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City campus.

    She conducts research focused on sensory evaluation and consumer science, applied to food enhancement and innovation, particularly in traditional Mexican products. Her work combines experimental design, multivariate statistical analysis, and physicochemical characterization to examine how consumers in the Mexican population perceive, accept, and behave, integrating instrumental attributes with sensory responses and decisions.

    He has conducted research on foods with distinctive attributes, such as gluten-free products, analyzing their acceptance and positioning in the national context. In addition, he has established a line of research on traditional Mexican fermented beverages, contributing to their sensory characterization and to the understanding of how they are perceived from scientific, technological, and cultural perspectives.

    He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Industrial Biotechnology Unit of CIATEJ (2022–2024), furthering his expertise in traditional fermentation processes and advanced statistical analysis of sensory data. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNII). He is the author of scientific articles and book chapters in his field of expertise.

  • David Ernesto Salinas Navarro

    David Ernesto Salinas Navarro

    Dr. David E. Salinas-Navarro is a research professor in the School of Engineering at the Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City, and an associate fellow at the Centre for Systems Studies at the University of Hull, United Kingdom. He holds a Ph.D. in Business and Management Systems from the University of Lincoln in the United Kingdom, a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, and a specialization in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education with Distinction from Aston University in the United Kingdom.

    With more than 25 years of international academic experience in Mexico and the United Kingdom, Dr. Salinas-Navarro specializes in operations management, systems thinking, and experiential learning. His research focuses on strengthening individual and collective learning, as well as organizational viability and performance, through the improvement of systems, processes, and operations. He directs The Action Lab at the Universidad Panamericana, a research initiative focused on experiential learning and community engagement, and is responsible for research on projects related to short supply chains for traditional foods in artisanal agri-food systems.

    Dr. Salinas Navarro is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and a Certified Management Business Educator (CMBE) in the United Kingdom. He is a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNII Level 1) in the area of teaching methods. He is also a member of the Educational Innovation Group of the MIT SCALE Network in Latin America and of the Operational Research Society UK, where he serves as co-coordinator of the community operations research branch. His contributions to educational innovation have been recognized with the Silver Award in the 2018 QS Reimagine Education Competition and the Best Paper Award at the 2022 IEEE EDUNINE Conference.

    His extensive publication record includes numerous articles in Q1 and Q2-indexed journals on experiential learning, systems thinking, and short supply chains, as well as books and edited chapters on active learning and authentic assessment. Through his research, Dr. Salinas Navarro brings extensive experience in developing individual and collective capabilities in learning and organizational performance.

  • Claudia Yohana Arias Portela

    Claudia Yohana Arias Portela

    Dr. Claudia Arias Portela holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Tec de Monterrey). She is an industrial engineer and holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering. She is a researcher with the National System of Researchers (SNII). She has completed international internships at LMU in Munich, Germany, and the University of Brescia in Italy. Throughout her professional career, she has worked in the private sector at leading companies in industries such as mining, oil, consumer goods, automotive, and floriculture.

    In addition, he conducts applied research, teaches, and provides consulting services to national and international companies in the industrial and educational sectors. He has experience in cognitive and physical ergonomics, process design and characterization, occupational health and business productivity, industrial safety, Edutech, strategic planning, and short supply chains. He also holds certifications in Industry 4.0 and data science.

    She is currently a professor, researcher, and academic director of the Operations Management program for both the graduate and undergraduate programs in the School of Engineering at the Mexico City campus. She is also the faculty advisor for the IISE (Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers) chapter at UP in Mexico, with Gold status. She also served as Director of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Management. She is affiliated with The Action Lab and the Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence Centers (MIT SCALE). She has presented at numerous national and international conferences and has published articles in highly prestigious journals.

    María Valeria Sonna

    She holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires and is a member of the SNIII (Mexico, SECIHTI). Born in Argentina and based in Mexico, she has extensive teaching experience at universities in both countries, where she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as the History of Ancient Philosophy, Ethics and Philosophy, and Gender. Her research focuses on the reception of Ancient Philosophy in contemporary thought and on the history of the philosophy of pregnancy and motherhood. She is the author of the book *Gilles Deleuze’s Plato* (2019) and *Women in Antiquity: Childbirth, Motherhood, and Birth* (2020) and has received various grants (CONICET, DGAPA-UNAM, U. Panamericana). Her work encompasses teaching, research, and the dissemination of philosophical knowledge.
