The curriculum of the School of Psychology, from the Universidad Panamericana, encourages interest in:

In the Syllabus you will find:

• Solid neurobiological and scientific bases, which allow multidisciplinary diagnoses to be made.

• 4 specialisation options at the end of the degree: Clinical and Health Psychology, Neuropsychology, Educational Psychology and Organisational Psychology, to obtain a degree certificate and specialisation in just 5 years.

Areas of Expertise

Organisational: The study of human behaviour in the world of work, both at the individual and group level.

Neuropsychology: This is the area in which the principles of neuroscience are applied to the study of human behaviour from a scientific point of view.

Educational: Aims to study human learning from childhood to old age, as well as its main characteristics, thereby providing solutions for the development of curricula, educational management, educational models and cognitive sciences in general.

Clinical and Health: This is the area in charge of investigating those factors that affect the mental health and adaptive behaviour of human beings through assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

The School of Nursing has a unique curriculum in Latin America, focused on disorders and care by specialty. In addition to a holistic approach to patient care, developing the four areas of nursing (clinical, administration, policy, teaching and research).

With an emphasis on research and evidence-based nursing, the School of Nursing at Universidad Panamericana also has clinical and research facilities in the best health institutions in Mexico, as well as first level: high fidelity simulation center, operating rooms, amphitheater and laboratories.

The semester curriculum is reviewed and updated to adapt to ongoing health, bioethical and technological developments. Its main features are:

• Clinical skills development with a focus on patient safety.
• Integration of basic and clinical sciences from the first semester.

In July 1996, the School of Medicine opened its doors and since its foundation it has redefined medical education by integrating the best of tradition, strategic innovation and research into its curriculum. This guarantees the student a comprehensive and high-level academic training, as well as the necessary tools to provide quality care to patients.

The semester curriculum is reviewed and updated every five years to keep pace with the continuous advances in medicine. Its main features are:

The generation of new medical knowledge is fundamental. For this reason, the syllabus provides for our students to develop, over three semesters, a research protocol under the guidance of an experienced researcher, whether in basic, clinical or epidemiological research.

The School of Medicine's academic program is again accredited for the period 2018-2023 by the Mexican Council for the Accreditation of Medical Education (COMAEM).
