June 7, 2023 - Innovation is key to driving progress and improving the quality of life around the world. For this reason, the Universidad Panamericana and the NTT DATA Mexico Foundation have joined forces to promote science-based entrepreneurship and are launching the INVENTORS PROGRAM Solutions for a Better World, an initiative that rewards high-impact technology-based projects with a social focus.
The participating projects will compete for a $1,000,000.00 prize and an acceleration program from NTT DATA Mexico. This initiative is part of the eAwards Mexico 2023 and seeks to recognize and promote the work of scientists and inventors who generate a positive impact on society.
The innovation program
The main objective of INVENTORS PROGRAM Solutions for a Better World is to promote the creation and development of scientific and technological projects with a high impact on society, encouraging collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs, companies and institutions.
In this way, it seeks to promote the generation of new solutions and transform innovative ideas into tangible realities that improve people's lives and contribute to a more sustainable future.
The program is aimed at scientists, researchers, inventors and entrepreneurs of any nationality who are linked to a Mexican institution. The projects submitted must be based on science and technology, be innovative, scalable, sustainable and have the potential to generate a significant social and/or environmental impact.
Selection and award process
The projects submitted under the INVENTORS PROGRAM will be evaluated by a jury of experts in science, technology and entrepreneurship. The best projects will be selected and awarded with an acceleration program, financial support and the opportunity to participate in the international final of the eAwards.
As part of this agreement, both institutions have committed to work together to provide support, resources and training to INVENTORS PROGRAM participants. In addition, Universidad Panamericana and the NTT DATA Mexico Foundation will work together to promote and disseminate the program's activities, as well as to recognize and award the most outstanding projects.
Benefits and opportunities
The winners of the acceleration program will receive financial support, personalized mentoring, access to a network of experts in science, technology and entrepreneurship, as well as the opportunity to present their projects to investors and companies interested in collaborating with them. In addition, they will be able to participate in the international final of the eAwards, competing for an additional prize and the opportunity to expand their project globally.
Over the years, the eAwards have recognized and supported numerous innovative projects with high social and environmental impact. Some of these projects have achieved great success and have been implemented in different countries, generating a significant change in people's quality of life and care for the environment.
