Mexico City, March 3, 2025. The Senate of the Republic was the scenario where students from the Universidad Panamericana participated in the Youth Parliamentan event organized in coordination with the Upper House of the Congress of the Union.. The objective of this simulation was for young university students to learn first-hand about the legislative process and get an insight into parliamentary life, fostering their interest in politics and public service.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Sen. Preparation and perseverance: keys to success in politics
During her speech, Senator López Castro shared with the young people: "Politics is not immediate (...), it is a process of patience and perseverance.". The senator also offered practical advice to young people: "Prepare yourselves, finish your degrees and continue with master's degrees and doctorates.
