Mexico City, April 14, 2026.– The Universidad Panamericana signed a General Agreement on Academic Collaboration with WomenCISO and Google, with the aim of establishing a framework for institutional cooperation to promote academia, research, and entrepreneurial culture in Mexico.
This strategic agreement solidifies the Universidad Panamericana position Universidad Panamericana a key player in training specialized talent in information technology, in line with the needs of the global digital landscape.
Promoting training in a disruptive environment
The event was attended by Dr. Santiago García, Dean of the Mexico City Campus; Salvador Beltrán del Río, Director of Institutional Development; and Dr. Alejandro Ordóñez, Dean of the School of Engineering. Representing partner organizations were Lorena Bravo, founder of WomenCISO; Adriana Bravo, director of WomenCISO and director of Cybersecurity at Google; and Lauro García, director of Google for Education for Latin America.

This agreement establishes a framework for cooperation aimed at developing talent in key areas such as cybersecurity, technological innovation, and digital transformation.

Partnerships for Research and Entrepreneurship
As part of this collaboration, various initiatives will be implemented to expose students to the professional world, including:
- WomenCISO Leaders Participate in Corporate Lectures and Seminars
- Access to hands-on experiences based on real-world industry cases
- Job opportunities through specialized job boards
- Strengthening the link between academia and the technology industry

Dr. Alejandro Ordóñez, dean of the School of Engineering and director of the Phygital Lab at the Universidad Panamericana, emphasized that this partnership will enable students to develop key skills to meet the challenges of the future by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
“In addition to academic training, we build bridges to employability and high-impact entrepreneurship through our incubator Spark Up and talent recruitment programs,” he said.
Promoting research and technological entrepreneurship
The agreement also provides for collaboration on scientific research, technological development, and applied engineering projects, as well as support for entrepreneurial initiatives through Spark Up, the incubator at the Universidad Panamericana.

This synergy aims to foster high-impact companies and strengthen collaborative networks with key players in the technology sector.
“The signing of this agreement integrates us into a disruptive ecosystem in cybersecurity and information technology, allowing the Universidad Panamericana ties with industry leaders in Mexico,” Ordóñez noted.
Through this partnership with WomenCISO and Google, the Universidad Panamericana its commitment to educational innovation, the training of highly specialized professionals, and the generation of knowledge that has an impact on society.
