About 1% of all applicants to the CENEVAL exam obtain recognition for excellence, which is why these achievements enhance the prestige of the University nationally and internationally.

With the objective of distinguishing graduates for showing great academic performance during their university career, the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara held the awards ceremony for the 30 Alumni, who stood out with excellence in the exam prepared by the National Evaluation Center for Higher Education (Ceneval) in 2019 and 2020.
Ceneval is a non-profit civil association whose main activity is the design and application of instruments for the assessment of knowledge, skills and competencies, as well as the analysis and dissemination of test results.
"We have always said that prestige is of utmost importance for the University, which can only be justified through the performance of its graduates, and you have demonstrated this by putting Panamericana on a high level," said Dr. José Antonio Esquivias Romero, Rector of the University.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to the students, which accredit students with academic excellence by the Ceneval test. In addition to the above, the Campus Rector pointed out that, "this represents a source of pride for the University as well as for their parents and teachers".
For his part, Dr. Carlos Eduardo López Hernández, Academic Vice Rector, expressed that, "today, more than recognising them as award winners, but also thanking their teachers, their parents and the collaborators who accompanied their trajectory".
The exam created by the Ceneval not only evaluates the academic level of the students, but also serves as a metric to assess the prestige according to the educational programme of each institution.
In conclusion, Dr. Rafael Hernández Cázares, Vice-Rector for Outreach, shared that for the University "we are proud to have them among our graduates, as this is the most important part for us as an institution [...] we are proud of our graduates and recognising our management and teaching staff, because it is a hallmark of the quality of the University's programmes through our graduates".
Panamericana is proud of its Alumni, who have tested their intellectual abilities, which were developed and promoted by the academic programmes that make up and distinguish the University, and congratulates them for having obtained this achievement of excellence awarded by a nationally recognised association.
