Aguascalientes, Ags. October 6, 2022.- During the second generation of the Master's Degree in Agri-Food Business at Universidad Panamericana, students took a deep focus on Agri-Food Sustainability, Technological Innovation, Market Development and Marketing to boost the field and agribusiness in Aguascalientes. One of the students was Juan Alberto Ramos Romero, who took his professional exam to graduate with a Master's degree.

Juan Alberto, commented to his committee chaired by Dr. Julieta Domínguez Soberanes, that due to the skills developed in the master's program, he had a job offer for a company United Hog Systems LLC in Michigan, USA.

After his or her degree exam, the alumni shared that studying for his master's degree at the University " helped him to open many professional doors and many entrepreneurial possibilities" by working with seed companies and consulting services in agronomy, and to venture into post-harvesting for the primary sector in the medium term.

He was accompanied by the professors of Food Business Management, Mr. Anthony Gerard Gómez (member) and Dr. Mayeli Peralta Contreras (secretary). "Juan Alberto went to Chicago because this company was interested in his profile because he had the knowledge and experience in agronomy, in addition to his knowledge in business and food marketing," said Dr. Peralta, who, at the same time, assures that many of the graduates of this Master's program have an equally interesting profile.

Speaking about his students, he explains that "at the School of Agribusiness Management, we are very proud of our graduates for the enormous potential they represent, not only in technical skills, but also in leadership and human sense that, through the various modules, students had the opportunity to learn and develop in their Master's degree. This strategic program of the UP seeks to train professionals with a high sense of social responsibility and with technical tools for the agri-food sector at the Bajío and national level.
