In 5 semesters at the university , 38 COILS have been conducted (from August 2020 to December 2022), which have impacted:
- 925 UP students.
- 28 UP professors.
- Several foreign students and teachers.

Sustainable Development
The students of the School of Food Business developed their projects focused on a central theme: Sustainable Development. They worked with the team of professors to propose strategies and issues of sustainability in productive projects of companies focused on the Mexican countryside. Among the projects in the final presentations were our students Fernanda Morán, with Actions for Sustainability; and Claudia Itzel Jiménez, with El progreso Biogas. Both proposals are initiatives by the UP that seek the development of new profiles and collaborative tools through different platforms that allow our students to bring quality education within their programs.
Dr. Mayeli comments: "We are sure that these types of tools are absolutely necessary and can be of great help for the learning of all our students".
The event was attended by several distinguished educational authorities. Gabriela Valdivieso, Corporate Director of International Affairs, and Dr. Jiangyuan Zhou, Director of Global Engagement and Senior International Officer at Stockton University.
"Educational innovation is key for the generations to come," Mayeli explains. "These projects will help them a lot to learn about the rest of the world and be aware of different cultures, and thus, enrich their education so that they result in wise people who get to make a real change in our country."
