Panamericana signs commitment for the youth of Zapopan

ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; September 20, 2022.- In order to generate alliances in favor of its student community, Universidad Panamericana campus Guadalajara signed an agreement with the Municipal Youth Institute of Zapopan, with a commitment to the youth of the municipality.

This agreement will allow, in the first instance: "to establish a specific collaboration framework between the parties, in order to benefit young people from 12 to 19 years of age by providing information on the services offered by both parties and in turn, offer topics to counteract the lack of opportunities and conditions of vulnerability suffered by the youth of the municipality, enhancing their capabilities and integrating them in the solution of the problems so that they can be agents of change in the reconstruction of the social fabric and social cohesion".

"There are many possibilities for collaboration knowing the approach that the Zapopan Youth Institute seeks to promote for the development of young people. Like the Institute, the Universidad Panamericana has the same concern for its students. We seek to improve intergenerational communication among young people, to know what the next generations expect from those who precede them and vice versa," said Dr. Rafael Hernandez Cázares, director of institutional development at the campus.

The event was attended by: Dr. Rafael Hernández Cázares, Director of Institutional Development; Dr. Rocío Ruíz, Director of Vida Panamericana; Paulina del Carmen Torres Padilla, Chief of Staff of the Zapopan City Council; Aranza Elizabeth Gallardo Romero, Head of the Municipal Youth Institute of Zapopan, Jalisco.
