The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara inaugurated the Soy Líder UP program on October 6, 2023, aimed at its employees to prevent and correct psychosocial risks in the work environment, as well as to improve leadership skills.

The program is based on the results of the diagnosis according to the Mexican Official Standard NOM-035-STPS-2018, applied in 2022, which identifies psychosocial risk factors and evaluates the organizational environment. The objective is to train people with a transformative experience in the development of the best skills to lead work teams, seeking that they appropriate the role of leader and internalize the behaviors and tools typical of the Culture of Universidad Panamericana.

Why Soy Líder UP?

The intention of the program is to form increasingly more human leaders, who achieve committed teams and transmitters of the UP Culture through empathy. Excellent leaders who inspire their teams and lead them to the fulfillment of strategic objectives. Leaders who set an example through daily actions aligned to the University's Culture. Leaders who are motivated, cheerful and who foster a safe psychological climate for work, who are agents of change and cultural transformation.

The program consists of eight modules. Each module is taught by experts in the field. Its first module, entitled "Feedback with a connection that transforms", was given by Dr. Héctor Xavier Ramírez Pérez, Vice Rector Campus Mexico.

Program participants expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for the opportunity to learn and improve their leadership skills. They also emphasized the importance of fostering a positive work environment that favors the development, health, and self-fulfillment of employees, as well as raising their potential.
