ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; July 21, 2022.- The SMART Student Center, created for the students of Universidad Panamericana, complements their academic development and strengthens the competencies they will need to become professionals who meet social demands, promoting leaders who contribute to the improvement of Mexico and the world.
It consists of the integration of specialized psycho-pedagogical services, made available to Panamericana students, offering them personalized attention for the achievement of their personal and academic development.
Its objective is to follow up on the entire student community through university counseling, promoting academic and personal talents, inviting self-knowledge to promote their performance in the course of their university life.
SMART Student Center
The SMART Student Center integrates the services offered by the university counseling and provides personalized accompaniment, energizing the following programs:
- High Academic Achievement Program.
- Student athlete support program.
- INTEGRA program for students with disabilities.
- Program for outstanding students
- Vocational reorientation program.
In addition to the above, it has an academic tutoring program aimed at solving students' needs in complex subjects.
Personal Reinforcement Programs
Likewise, there are Personal Reinforcement Programs (PRP) to address issues related to:
- Procrastination
- Conflict resolution
- Time management
- Academic stress management
- Study methods
- Assertive communication
- Intelligent reading (the only one with cost since it is a license)
SMART is part of the CIIE
Institutional Center for Educational Innovation (CIIE), which aims to enhance the personal and professional talent of our academic staff and student community, responding to the current demands and trends in higher education, nationally and internationally.
The other two arms that make up the CIIE are Apolo 21, which aims to energize the innovation ecosystem, and Talent, whose objective is to train and empower teachers through pedagogical methodologies and tools, supported by technology, to enrich the teaching-learning process.
The Universidad Panamericana Guadalajara Campus recognizes the work of the SMART Student Center and invites the university community to come and make use of the services provided by this important center.
