Zapopan, Jalisco; November 30, 2023-. With the initiative to promote collaboration and innovation in the professional field, the School of Business signed an agreement with the Wadhwani Foundation .

What is the Wadhwani Foundation?

The Wadhwani Foundation is a non-profit organization created by Silicon Valley entrepreneur Dr. Romesh Wadhwani. Its primary mission is to accelerate economic development by driving job creation in India, the United States, Mexico and other emerging economies through initiatives and support in entrepreneurship, small business growth, innovation and people empowerment .

Target

The objective of this agreementis to implement new technologies, ideas, possibilities and ways of working to maximize the skills of the people involved. It also seeks to work with different organizations to achieve common goals and inclusive solutions.

UP GDL & Wadhwani

As part of the benefits derived from this agreement, Panamericana has established the UP GDL & Wadhwani Plan, which includes the Wadhwani - Spark UP Chair. This program is designed for students who have completed and approved Creatividad Empresarial and have a business idea or project.

The selected participants, a group of 30 spaces, will receive 6 credits with revalidation by Entrepreneurs and Certification by the Wadhwani Foundation, complying with the standards established by the foundation. The sessions will be held on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offering the possibility of networking with business postgraduates and business linkages. In addition, the projects will be closely monitored by the Spark UP team.
