A pathway for social change

To kick off the event, the importance of reflecting on the impulse that women can give to Mexico was raised , since by fighting for their rights they also acquire responsibilities.

Likewise, the creation of educational projects that respond to specific needs was presented as a promising avenue for social change. Stories of successful ventures illustrated the wide range of possibilities that pedagogy offers beyond traditional teaching, ranging from entrepreneurship to educational innovation.

Continuous learning: necessary for the educator

Carla Espinosa said: "Parentthink, my venture, seeks to impact parents through content that brings neuropsychology and teaching to explain the technical part in a very friendly way to parents".

"(It helps parents to) be able to fall in love with why it is important to know what stage their child is in, what they need and to be clear about the difference between intention and strategy," she said.

The conversation also revolved around constant updating in pedagogy. The importance of staying informed about the latest theories and practices to face the educational challenges of the present and future was emphasized, demonstrating that continuous learning is essential for any educator.

For her part, Viviana Padilla emphasized: "The truth is that that's what it's all about, to keep updating yourself because if you don't, you'll be left behind. How many moms and bloggers are there? There is so much information that you don't know which one is correct and which one is well supported. So, let's not just be the typical moms, you always have to do it from a scientific basis, because that's what you're going to do for real.

Collaboration between parents and educators

Another relevant point of the discussions was the collaboration between parents and educators. The experts highlighted the need for a strong partnership to ensure the comprehensive development of children, showing how working together can overcome barriers and enrich the educational process.

"I realized that what I could do was really a lot, but without the parents this change was not possible, because in the end, the parents are the ones who have the greatest impact on everyone's life, from the emotional, academic and social part, in other words, in all ways," said Espinosa Manzanilla.
