Guadalajara, Jalisco, June 24, 2025.— The Universidad Panamericana , GuadalajaraUniversidad Panamericana and OMNILIFE-CHIVAS have signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening professional training, applied research , and institutional development.
As part of this agreement, the OMNILIFE-CHIVAS & UP Chair, an initiative that connects the academic world with the business and sports sectors in Jalisco, fostering a partnership with a focus on social impact.
Initiatives in Support of the Universidad Panamericana OMNILIFE
The agreement signed provides for a wide range of joint initiatives, including the organization of lectures, workshops, internships, and specialized courses, aimed at both students and staff members of both institutions. The goal is to promote ongoing academic and professional development by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
The president of the Universidad Panamericana , Guadalajara Universidad Panamericana , Dr. Abraham Mendoza Andrade, highlighted three key areas in the pursuit of positive transformation.
““We seek leadership that transforms lives—leadership, above all, that is centered on the individual. (…) transforming the individual—that is the foundation for winning games, and here we see a very interesting triad: sports, education, and business,” said Dr. Mendoza.
He also noted:“In sports, we learn important values that are also present in the workplace: resilience, hard work, commitment, and passion.”

Amaury Vergara, president of the OMNILIFE-CHIVAS Group, highlighted the value of education and how this agreement will be crucial in generating synergies that will bring about transformative change for Mexico.
“We believe that education is what truly transforms a country and its social fabric. When a country is well-prepared, we obviously have more opportunities and can do more across all sectors of our country,”, Vergara said.
In the academic sphere, the agreement will allow students at the Universidad Panamericana professional internships and community service in various departments at OMNILIFE-CHIVAS, enriching their education with real-world experience at companies with significant national and international impact. Similarly, students will be able to participate in conferences and workshops led by experts from the company, broadening their perspective and understanding of the professional world.

The agreement covers more than just academic matters. It also includes the organization of cultural, scientific, and publishing activities, as well as the shared use of spaces such as classrooms, laboratories, sports fields, and the university gym.
