ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; December 06, 2023.- The rector of the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara, Dr. José Antonio Esquivias, accompanied by campus authorities, received the Consul General of the United States in Guadalajara, Amy Scanlon to strengthen ties with U.S. universities.

Internationalisation

During the meeting, university life was discussed at length, highlighting notable projects such as the Calcutta program. Internationalization, specifically student exchange, was a crucial point, underlining the need to promote cross-cultural understanding and the identification of shared problems, such as the situation of low-income people, a vital challenge for both nations.

The value of professional internships as an essential part of students' academic and professional training was also emphasized. The Fullbright Scholarship was also mentioned, recognizing its relevance in facilitating student exchanges and promoting greater intercultural understanding between the two nations.
