ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; September 20, 2023.- Diana Andrea Iñiguez Magdaleno, student of the careers of Family Business Administration and Management and Administration and International Business won the "Best Delegate Outstanding" award during the 12th edition of the Asia Youth International Model United Nations Conference (AYIMUN).
What is AYIMUN?
It is a platform where the mentality of young people is developed in leadership, negotiation and diplomacy in a Model United Nations.
The Asia Youth International Model United Nations 12th Edition aimed to facilitate young leaders from different locations to expand their networks and provide a platform to share their perspectives, particularly on peace and security.
Diana highlighted that the idea of going to AYIMUN came after she came across a post on Instagram which consisted of representing Mexico and Honduras in the Model United Nations.
"It was my turn to be a delegate from Honduras, which meant putting myself in the position of a knowledgeable HonduranI had to face the economic conditions of this country at a global level through the IMF of the International Monetary Fund," she explained.
Best Delegate Outstanding Award
When she learned that she had won the "Best Delegate Outstanding" award at the conference, she was very pleased, since "I put Mexico's name on high and took a little bit of the beauty of our country abroad.

A piece of advice that the ninth semester Panamericana student gives to the university community is to "stand out, travel, get to know and experience the diversity of the world, don't stay in your bubble, MOVE, Mexico needs people who move for it".
