ESDAI signs an agreement with the Jalisco Hotel Association A.C.

ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; September 22, 2022. Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara and the Association of Hotels of Jalisco A.C. signed a partnership agreement for professional internships and the promotion of postgraduate studies, with the additional purpose of providing training and development to the staff of affiliated hotels.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Friné Velázquez Contreras, director of the Escuela Superior de Administración de Instituciones (ESDAI) of the Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara and Mr. Juan Carlos Mondragón, president of the Asociación de Hoteles de Jalisco A.C., María del Pilar Guadalajara Labiaga; the director of the Hotel Association of Jalisco, Ana Karla Ahumada and Claudia Muñoz Campillo, Coordinator of Professional Practices and ESDAI linkage.

Benefits and requirements

The Hotel Association of Jalisco A.C. will admit different students from the University for their professional internships. For its part, Panamericana will offer discounts of between 20 and 30 percent, depending on the number of applicants from the same hotel company who enroll in the postgraduate academic programs offered by its schools and faculties.

Applicants must have the specific candidate profile required by the program, and must also submit all the documentation requested and pay the respective amounts on the dates indicated. Regarding the professional practices in the hotels, the applicants will collaborate through specific projects and a project manager, having a constant and permanent follow-up of the activities developed by them.

The president of AHJAL, Juan Carlos Mondragón, gave a speech, in which he thanked "To this honorable institution, the opportunity they give us to collaborate and put our grain of sand in the formation of their students, who undoubtedly make the world of hospitality better every day, women leaders in the industry, achieving dreams and professional goals".

"Our main challenge is to position ESDAI in a forceful and strategic way at the local, regional, national and international level. Today we are here; really excited and grateful for signing this agreement and sharing values with the Hotel Association". Added ESDAI's Director, Mrs. Friné Velázquez Contreras.
