ZAPOPAN, Jalisco; January 24, 2024.- The Universidad Panamericana Campus Guadalajara has announced a significant transformation in the Bachelor's Degree in Management and Marketing, which will now be called Marketing and Data Strategy.

According to MBA. María Begoña Cota Mendia, director of Marketing and Data Strategy at the Panamericana Campus Guadalajara, the change responds to "an exhaustive analysis of the current marketing environment and labor needs.an exhaustive analysis of the environment and the needs of today's marketing field of work".

Aiming to always be relevant, the university chose to evolve and provide not only a new name, but updated content and preparation to meet the demands of the industry.

The new name stems from a detailed investigation of the current marketing environment. The career director and managers of the 4 campuses gathered information from experts, reviewed current trends and best practices in the industry.

The intention was not just to change the name, but to create an innovative program that fuses the creative world of marketing with data analysis, thus forming future managers capable of articulating well-founded strategies.

What changes in the program?

The new Marketing and Data Strategy program is characterized by a greater applied analytical weight. Although it maintains the fundamental pillars of creativity, strategy and internationalization, "these pillars now have an approach and support for decision-making that is much more based on the appropriate use of information, since we firmly believe that information is the new gold," explains MBA. María Begoña Cota Mendia.
