Mexico City, January 8, 2024. Universidad Panamericana was present, for the first time, at THE Campus Live UK&IE 2023an event that brings together leaders in higher education, both academic and administrative, along with industry partners and policy experts, to discuss, debate and plan how to achieve institutional success.
Opportunity to establish relationships
The meeting took place at the ACC exhibition center in Liverpool and was attended by our general rector, Dr. Fernanda Llergo Bay, as well as Dr. Santiago García Álvarez, rector of campus Mexico.
Gabriela Valdivieso, corporate director of International Affairs, and Mr. Carlos Mateos, institutional coordinator of Rankings, who were in charge of institutional promotion.
Thus, the Panamerican delegation participated in the panel discussion entitled How to promote academic and cultural exchange between universities in the United Kingdom and Latin America?
The focus of this panel was to establish relations in Latin America, to foster collaborations with other universities, promoting faculty exchanges, academic agreements and research.
The participation of our rectors also included the intervention of academics and administrators from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFG). Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil and that of the director of the international office of the Universidad Austral of Argentina.
International visibility
The event has given our university greater visibility in the international arena and opens the door to future collaborations with institutions in different continents.
Likewise, this participation helped to have a closer approach with the THE ranking, since the Panamerican seeks to have greater recognition at international level. Likewise, the fact that our authorities have attended the event, gives us the opportunity to have a closer relationship with the organizers, as well as with the universities of other countries.
