Mexico City, January 8, 2024.— The Universidad Panamericana was present, for the first time, at THE Campus Live UK&IE 2023, an event that brings together leaders in higher education—both academic and administrative—along with industry partners and policy experts, to discuss, debate, and plan how to achieve institutional success.
An opportunity to build relationships
The event took place at the ACC Exhibition Center in Liverpool and was attended by our President, Dr. Fernanda Llergo Bay, as well as Dr. Santiago García Álvarez, President of the Mexico Campus.
Also in attendance on behalf of Panamericana were Gabriela Valdivieso, M.A., Corporate Director of International Affairs, and Carlos Mateos , B.S., Institutional Coordinator of Rankings, who were responsible for promoting the institution.
Thus, the Pan-American delegation participated in the panel discussion titled How to promote academic and cultural exchange between universities in the United Kingdom and Latin America?
The focus of the panel discussion was to strengthen Latin America’s ties in order to foster collaboration with other universities, promoting faculty exchanges, academic agreements, and research.
The participation of our university presidents also included presentations by faculty and administrative staff from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil and the director of the international office at Austral University in Argentina.
International visibility
The event has raised our university's profile on the international stage and paved the way for future collaborations with institutions on different continents.
Similarly, this participation helped bring us closer to the THE rankings, as the Pan-American University seeks greater international recognition. Furthermore, the fact that our officials attended suggests that we can look forward to building stronger relationships with both the organizers and universities in other countries.
