Scientific Production Achievements

This effort, accentuated in the last six years, allowed us to consolidate our position in 2020 as the second private university in Mexico with the highest volume of scientific production indexed in Scopus, as well as a significant increase in the number of members of the National System of Researchers, 147 to date. A special recognition to Dr. José Antonio Lozano Díez, who with his vision, promoted research during this period.

As a result of this effort, the University has grown in recognition, visibility and international positioning, achievements that we share with those who have made it possible, and this leads us to propose new challenges and greater challenges.

It is necessary to continue promoting the quality of our publications, since their scientific impact will result in opportunities for dialogue and collaboration of our professors with specialists at the international level, but also in social impact, since with this we contribute directly to the ideology of our University, where we propose to respond to the problems and challenges we face as a country and as a society.

2020 Scientific Production Report

We highlight in this Scientific Production Report 2020, original research and specific contributions related to COVID-19, from different perspectives of knowledge.

In the coming years, Universidad Panamericana will focus its efforts on detecting, managing and materializing funding opportunities in order to increase investment in research and thus strengthen our scientific and technical reach, as well as its impact and social benefits.

It is well known that human welfare and social progress as a whole depend, among many other things, on our ability to create and invent new works in the fields of technology and culture. For this reason, the drive towards a greater culture of intellectual property rights will also be a priority.

The promotion and protection of this right stimulates economic growth and, eventually, raises people's quality of life. Convinced of this, we will also work on the creation of effective mechanisms and processes to achieve an adequate transfer of our research results.

On behalf of the Institutional Research Council, I would like to express our most sincere recognition to the entire academic and management community who have motivated and worked to achieve the research objectives.

Dr. Abraham Mendoza Andrade
Institutional Research Director
