Zapopan; Jalisco, August 25, 2023.- With the objective of providing a space for learning and bonding between students and professors, The School of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Panamericana held a series of conferences to start with the inauguration event of the research unit of the new laboratories within the campus.
The lectures covered a wide range of relevant topics, from the family environment and mental health to the challenges facing psychologists in today's world. In addition, topics such as creativity-oriented education, among others, were explored.
New Spaces for Innovation
The laboratories, known as the "Pedagogical and Psychological Research and Intervention Unit", represent an achievement in this initial phase of development. This initial stage includes the implementation of the following spaces:
- Comprehensive Evaluation and Child Therapy Room
- Evaluation and Diagnostic Room
- Group Interaction Center
- Neurobiology Laboratory
- Integral Evaluation and Therapy Center
In these rooms, test applications, group dynamics, early stimulation for children, neurobiology and neuropsychology practices, among others, will be carried out.
The laboratories are for the use of the entire university community, especially to enhance the academic and practical activities of the students of the Pedagogy, Psychology and Master's degrees in Neuropsychology and Education .

The fundamental purpose of the Psycho-pedagogical Research and Intervention Unit is to nurture a constantly evolving learning community, which is why the university aspires tofacilitate the continuing education of its alumni, allowing them not only to practice their profession, but also to advance in their educational trajectories.
