Mexico City, September 11, 2023.— Last July, the Universidad Panamericana, in collaboration with ANCORA, carried out a major Oral Health Prevention Campaign.
The goal of this initiative was to promote oral health among its employees, covering everything from the prevention of tooth decay to the early treatment of dental trauma and the early diagnosis of malocclusions.
Dental Campaign
Tooth decay is one of the most common conditions in the general population, and its prevention and treatment are essential to ensuring good oral health. Committed to promoting the overall health of its employees, Panamericana, in partnership with its strategic ally ANCORA, invited Dentegra to conduct a Dental Health Prevention Campaign at the Mexico Campus.
The campaign was conducted using a mobile unit that was available to employees on July 19, 20, and 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During those days, dental cleanings and checkups were provided free of charge to the university community.
A total of 58 employees took advantage of this opportunity and underwent dental examinations. Of these, 37 were diagnosed with tooth decay, and nine extractions were performed. In addition, 14 people received treatment for missing teeth, while 22 people came in for dental restorations.
